Hi fellas! I have recently bought this new PC and I have connected it to the tv using a HDMi cable. These are my specs: M5A97-LE R2 Asus AMD 6200 6 core 3.80 Ghz AMD Radeon 7770 1 GB Sapphire Ghz Edition Acbel 560 W Cruise RAM 1600 4 GB Seagate 1 TB HDD LG LED 32" Rapoo wireless mouse & keyboard Windows 7 Ultimate Now, almost everytime I try to copy a file that is bigger than 3 or 4 GB from the USB stick to the HDD I suddenly get this screen and I am forced to restart: I have checked the hardwares and everything seems to be installed properly and I thought might be a good idea to ask for advice before messing with the BIOS caching or shadowing options. Another problem that I have which think might also be related to this, is that every once in awhile, the screen goes black for a split second and everything returns to normal again. Any sort of help will be appreciated.

Decided to mess with our friend "Bob" a little:

Playing Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. After recruiting Jahira and Khalid I pretty much avoided everything else and went straight for the mines and now I am having my A handed down to me. I did recruit minsc and that monk fella too, but the little critters in the lower levels of the mine have started throwing stuff at me and my party members get hurt pretty bad before they can reach them. Meybe I should try hitting them with a bow or something.

I recieved Blackwell Deception as a gift on steam but it seems that the game is actually the last episode in the Blackwell series. Now I have to buy the other 3 episodes...and they cost 4.99 each! ...Goddammit!

I really enjoyed watching this: ...had to tell this to someone!

The controls were pretty sharp on the PS3 but keyboard+mouse is usually more fun when it comes to fps games. Hmmm, now I feel like playing the original F.E.A.R on hard again

Fallout with the Fallout Fixt patch: Worked really good for the first few hours but then it crashed right when I was about to save and it corrupted my savefile! Better have multipule saves from now on.... Fallout: New Vegas: I am tempted to install NMC's Texture Pack but I doubt my rig would be able to handle it. But I am enjoying both games to death to be honest. Playing New Vegas and the original Fallout simultaneously gives you a strange but cool feeling. It's called nostalgia!

That game, along with Risen 2 and the Gothic series are in my ever-growing backlog.

Oh man, I have no idea what's going on! *launches new vegas*

Installed Fallout: New Vegas with The Uncut Mods and the 4GB loader. Tried installing the WME, but the main file is corrupted and won't download. The rest of the mods have to wait until I'm done with my current playthrough. Awesome things are happening right of the bat though: I sneaked up on some powder gangers. I was on the roof of one these rusty abandoned caravans and I noticed that on of the powder gangers was sitting in front of a table full of dynamites....you can guess what happened next.

Sweet. Did you install any mods or patches? I heard a lot of good stuff about the restoration project.

I'd say you're not burned out if you're still playing Skyrim. How many times can you dive the same* dungeon for random loot without feeling burned out? It's not like the combat system is actually "fun," so what's the appeal? I shouldn't say this on a game developer's gaming board in a "what are you playing" thread, but why not read a book, or learn some fringe hobby like sailing (admittedly, if you went to Yale or live on 5th avenue in Manhattan you probably have a few Yachts already,) or survival training (not like hoarding guns, but learning to be like Les Stroud,) or practice archery in real life (if that appeals to you,) maybe even put in some overtime if employed? Sure it's "less fun" than Skyrim, but if you're really burnt out you might as well do something else that will reset the metaphorical cooldown on gaming burnout. *Yes, the geometric layout is different, but in the end, aren't they all the same, even taking into account the 4 different "tilesets"?

Playing Aquanox on my new rig and enjoying every second of it.

I think I started using steam when the 'SiN Episodes: Emergence' game came out and I thought to myself: "wow, this is pure nostalgia. I remember playing that awesome SiN game back in 1998...I have to play this!". That's when I first started using steam. I think I'll play it again sometime in the coming weeks, though this time around, 'SiN Episodes: Emergence' is the game that will be bringing back memories.
