Yeah, those updates really get under my skin. Tried playing GTA V yesterday and it has a 10 GB update on the PS4.

To all Life is Strange fans, here is some VAMPYR gameplay from Gamescom 2016:

Well, you do come across weapons a lot but finding ammo for them isn't as straight forward as a shooter. You also go down with a few shots. It's not action oriented but the demos that were previously shown to the public did demonstrate a lot of action. The game isn't like that though. The first side-quest I completed didn't require me to pull the gun out even once. -

Are the maps as small as in Deus Ex: Human Revolution? None of the reviews I've seen mention anything about this. They are very similar to Human Revolution. You have different districts that are connected to each other via the subway system. -
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is great but I wish I could play it on a beefy PC instead of the PS4. Not just because of the performance boost you can get from a decent PC but also because of the controls. The gamepad controls work but you do get the feeling that a keyboard+mouse would have made things a whole lot easier and sharper. I seriously need to move to PC gaming. I am just waiting for the new nvidia cards to get a price drop.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided(PS4) -
It's great! The intro chapter is pretty boring but once you get to Praha you begin to feel that Deus Ex vibe. Future Prague looks really neat, it feels new and refreshing. The world is built similar to all the other Deus Ex games though. Lots of paths that reward you with exploring(some say it's even the best in the series so far). Can't say much about the story yet but it doesn't sound all that bad.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Pretty neat. Characters can sound pretty stupid at times but overall the game looks good. I am going full cyborg commando with this one!

I used the name 'Serge' for my character and that right there is an enemy doll! It's the US version from the Virtual Console. -

EarthBound: The Beginnings Where would we be without Japan! Xenoblade Chronicles X *obligatory 'better than No Man's Sky' comment* Torment: Tides of Numenera No words needed to describe this one, can't wait for the official release. Worth every cent in my opinion, especially if you enjoyed Planescape: Torment(which makes about 99.9% of the people on these boards ). -
Torment: Tides of Numenera is good stuff! I am really liking the writing and the characters.

Dude, with or without gamepad, you DEFINITELY need to check The Longest Journey. It has that and a whole lot more. The Longest Journey needs a mouse but the sequels(Dreamfall and Dreamfall Chapters) can be played using a gamepad. Though you could use Xpadder and play the first game with a gamepad too. You just need to map the buttons.

Try Tales from the Borderlands. Loader Bot is the best character I've seen in an adventure game recently. There are also The Longest Journey games which are my favorite adventure games of all time.

Life is Strange which is pretty boring. See kids? This is why you shouldn't trust steam reviews.

That might just be the best remake ever. Looks so awesome!

I watched a few streams and it looked interesting but I didn't see much combat. Everybody was just using the multi tool to mine the crap out of everything Does anyone know how the guns and weapons work in this game? I haven't seen much on-foot combat.

Supposedly the $400 Million is from an international court ruling regarding a disagreement between US-Iran dating to the late 1970s when the US agreed to back the Shah of Iran in buying arms. The US's position had been that the change of regime made the agreement null and void, whereas the international court determined the agreement was with the country and that the regime was irrelevant. This is - again supposedly - why the right has been arguing that US agreed to "accept" the international court ruling as a cover to buy off Iran to release prisoners. Mike Rogers claimed on TV that there was no ruling yet. Not sure if that's true or not. Edit: In any case they obviously tried to hide the fact that they made the payment. He went ahead and took back what he had said earlier according to BBC.

Just realized that I had a Torment: Tides of Numenera Steam-key waiting for me in the rewards section. Yay me! Downloading it now. Also, this game is now being released on the consoles?! What's next? The Legend of Zelda series on steam?! ...wouldn't be such a bad idea though.
-
The 400 Million $ he is talking about is the money that US owed to Iran. Again, proof that he has no idea what he is talking about and I have no idea why Russia supports this idiot. Maybe they hope that Trump will eventually bring the downfall of the US with his stupidity. Let's just hope he doesn't bring the downfall of the whole world with him. Yup, people are that misinformed.

Sudden Strike 4. This trailer looks all kinds of good.

Goddammit, Nintendo! Let me get back to grown up games. Super Mario 3D World -
I decided to buy one of the few N64 games available on the Wii U virtual console library so I went for Sin & Punishment. Controls definitely need some getting used to.

Playing some Shadow Warrior on the PS4. A damn fine looking game and the gameplay just feel wild and frantic but also challenging. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for an old-school shooter. Shadow Warrior 2 is also on its way and I am pretty excited for that. Flying Wild Hog is shaping up to be a pretty awesome studio. Me too, I bought Destiny at launch and had fun with it until I reached the point where I stumbled upon the games only raid that needed co-op but didn't offer any match-making(unlike the strikes and the multiplayer. Seriously, Bungie...wtf?!). The updates also made my hard-earned weapons feel useless so I just gave up. If I ever jump into an MMO(or an MMO hybrid game like Destiny) again it will be either The Secret World or nothing at all. WildStar also briefly caught my attention but apparently the game becomes boring after a while.
