  1. I am at level 37 and I just started Hearts of Stone.
  2. Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is already available for PS3. It contains a remake of both the Gamecube game and the Wii game. I also wish there was a remake of Tales of Vesperia as I often hear it's the best Tales game. At least there is a Valkyria Chronicles remake for the PS4. Gotta buy it next month as it has been on my wishlist for years. I also saw Valkyria Chronicles 2 on sale for the PSP a week ago or so. Wondering if it's worth buying.
  3. Started playing The Walking Dead Season 1 for the first time. I'm really liking the story and the characters so far and the puzzles and choices that I've encountered were pretty interesting. I also finished the contracts in The Witcher 3 and started Hearts of Stone. I downloaded the latest update(1.20) too which is pretty damn neat. Lots of changes that make an already superb game a lot more fun to play but the combat still leaves a bit to be desired. Enemies either die too quickly or kill you with a few hits and the camera/lock-on system can get pretty annoying, especially in tight spaces. Wish CD Project Red had concentrated a little bit more on the combat. And last bust not least: man, after all these years there is still not a single dull moment in The Ultimate DOOM. Blasting demons to bits with bare fists never feels this good. Add me on steam and we might be able to arrange some old-school co-op fun.
  4. Oooops, now look what you just did! Gotta play em all. I remember playing Heretic a lot. I just noticed that I also have the original jewel case 'Hexen 2: Portal of Praevus' mission pack. Now, I just have to find it.
  5. Retro GFX are like cats: you can't hate them!
  6. Finished Episode 1 in The Ultimate DOOM. Playing this game on Ultra Violence is simply the best fps experience I've ever had in my life. The music is awesome, the monsters fight each other, get in each others way, try to attack you in tight spaces but accidentally run into teleports, every weapon is useful(even the chainsaw...especially the chainsaw!), level design is superb....The only thing I've added to the game is that I play it with a mouse+keyboard now, back in the days I just used the keyboard. But with the addition of mouse it is a lot easier to turn around while strafing and dodging missles and fireballs. I'm gonna play through the whole DOOM Classic Complete and then do a replay of all the games but with Brutal DOOM or Project Brutality. After I'm done with DOOM I'll go ahead and meet the other love of my life! and treat her in a similar manner. Life is Good!
  7. True. One thing that also made the encounters difficult was that the enemies constantly try to flank you.
  8. Godhard? Nope. Got distracted by Uncharted 4 and DOOM. The only hard part so far has been that encounter with the two scorpion-like robots. The boss fights were pretty easy actually. Overall a very fun game though. Glad I didn't start it on normal or easy, some games simply deman to be played on the hardest difficulty otherwise they become boring. I also started The Ultimate DOOM on Hurt me Plenty but then I felt it was simply easy and then I switched to Ultra Violence. Uncharted 4 did kick my ass a lot though and that was on the hard difficulty setting not the Crushing difficulty setting. Still managed to beat it but I did die a lot.
  9. Playing a couple of games at the moment: The Witcher 3: Finishing up some contracts before starting Hearts of Stone. Decided not to bother with any of the Gwent or Race side-quests. I did all the fist fight side-quests though. I recently heard that if you play the game on Death March difficulty it will be a lot more rewarding. Wish I had started the game on Death March instead of Normal. Oh well, that's what replays are for. The Ultimate DOOM: I recently bought the DOOM classic pack on steam. I am playing through the game(vanilla - no mods) on Ultra Violence difficulty. Maybe I'll play DOOM II with the Brutal Doom MOD later on. It's still a lot of fun. Holds up perfectly to this day. Vanquish: I'm on the final act I think. I started the game on hard and I got side-tracked a bit somewhere in the middle but I picked it up again a couple of days ago and I think I'll finish it today.
  10. Worse than that are those sliding section in Uncharted 4 where you have to avoid certain obstacles while you are sliding down and time your jump right towards the end.
  11. Point Lookout: The Following...
  12. Uncharted 3 is great. I liked the theme of the story a lot. Best in the series for me.
  13. I wanted to try the Snapmap function in DOOM today and it says 'DOOM services offline'. I can't seem to log-in. Anyone else encountered something similar?!
  14. I did my best but could only find 42 treasures.
  15. Waiting for Shadow of the Beast to unlock on the PSN. Reviews aren't that positive but I am still willing to give it try.
  16. Agreed. A 12 year old could have done a better job. Wonder how they went from an awesome single-player campaign like that of Battlefield: Bad Company to such an atrocious piece of garbage. Multiplayer is still fun though but not as half as fun as Bad Company 2's multiplayer unless you are playing on the hardcore servers.
  17. Nah, I need some gangsta music for that.
  18. I installed the 1.02 patch today and noticed that the screen tearing was gone. I also set the fov to 110 from 90 and now the game looks gorgeous. I regret whatever I said before about the graphics. It also runs pretty damn sweet. The framerate remains (almost) steady even during the most hectic moments.
  19. The DOOM single-player campaign is loads and loads of fun. The enemy variety is nice, the level design is great, controls are smooth, weapons feel great... definitely give it a try if you are looking for a fast paced fps and try to go for the PC version, this is one game that definitely benefits a lot from a mouse+keyboard setup.
  20. Man, I came back wondering what gave me 3 instant Likes...Keira Metz!
  21. I just wonder who hired that guy/gal...
