  1. Oh lord! Forgive me, for all the lives I have taken... Love how you get soaked in blood. A nice view to a terrifying boss.
  2. Bloodborne is truly one of the best experiences I've had in years, not a single dull moment so far. The Division sounds interesting but I have my hands full with Bloodborne right now. Might buy it and give it spin in the coming weeks though.
  3. Playing some Tales from the Borderlands. It's a pretty good movie if you liked the mood and atmosphere of the Borderlands series.
  4. Multiplayer is something totally new to me. I know DS1 has some pvp but I don't have any idea how it works. Athought, Demon's Souls did have multiplayer of some sorts but it was totally random. You could try to assit players by putting a sign on the ground and sometimes you would see blue signs on the ground which indicated you could summon a player to your world for a certain boss battle. I tried helping other players in boss fights with great results(you could kill a boss you had already killed in your own gameworld and regain full health instead of using a Stone of Ephemeral Eyes which is pretty rare). I also got help from other players not just in boss fights but also in clearing certain sections of the game but like I said, it was totaly random. You couldn't always find help signs on the ground. You could also invade another players world in a similar manner. At any given time, you could invade a players world as a black phantom, find them, kill them and steal their souls. I once summoned a player to help me with a level and just as I was looking forward to the cooperation, a black phantom invaded my world, killed both me and the guest player and ran away with our sou!s! There was also the Old Monk boss fight. In online mode, the game would summon another player as the boss and you would fight him/her. Demon's Souls was a brutal game. Yurt: The Silent Chief is a joke I still don't find funny at all. It really hurts if you fall for his trap. It could destroy 100 hours of progress. But then again, no game has ever been so thrilling.
  5. I was wondering how they are different since I never played any of the Dark Souls games. I bought Dark Souls for the PS3 a while ago and also Dark Souls II: Scholars of the First Sin Edition for the PS4. It Will be interesting to play those games once I am done with Demon's Souls and Bloodborne. I have a huge From Software fever right now and I don't think it will go away any time soon...good!
  6. Found some old footage from Dead Island 2. Aside from the god-awful voice acting, the rest looks pretty impressive. So sad that this game was brought to a halt. Yager was suddenly dropped and apparently the game has been handed to an "unnamed developer".
  7. Nice stuff! The leveling system did bother me in both Borderlands and Dead Island. Glad to see I don't have to stare at the same meaningless skill-trees again.
  8. I only played the first Dead Island game and loved it. The atmosphere was just top notch. I don't get why so many people hated it.
  9. That's Dying Light eh? Man, I've said this before but I am saying it again: so many games and so little time! I gotta get that Dying Light: Enhanced Edition next month along with the Dead Island Definitive Collection which is coming to the consoles towards the end of March. New textures? New character models? all the dlc's? I'm IN!
  10. Just beat the Armor Spider in Demon's Souls. I played the US import version of Demon's Souls back in 2009 and now I am playing the EU version and it has the same set of trophies to unlock. Good thing because I love unlocking all those trophies again.
  11. Yeah, I think you're talking about the guy with the gatling gun. I was wondering where thay voice was coming from until suddenly a hail of bullets came flyinh towards me!
  12. For me, it doesn't run S.T.A.L.K.E.R. That's enough reason for me to stay away from it(Win 10).
  13. @Majek Behold! My first encounter with the Cleric Beast!
  14. Now I am playing both Bloodborne and Demon's Souls. I play Demon's Souls after each session of Bloodborne to ensure my manliness! I also play Okami HD. I am engaged in playing three games that need serious commitment. I am not complaining a single bit though. Time to go and feed some animals in Okami HD. Life's Good.
  15. Well, it doesn't really need upgrading since I mostly play old games on the PC. But the problem I have is the noise! The AMD graphics cards perform very good but my god are they loud! It doesn't even overheat or anything, it's just load(AMD Radeon 7770). Performance-wise it's awesome though! It runs games like Witcher 2, Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, Red Orchestra 2, Borderlands 2 with very good framerates. Wish it wasn't this load though. With all that said, I would love to build a new PC for Star Citizen and a few other beefy PC exclusives. I would also like to see how pretty I can make Fallout: New Vegas look, because right now I can't use NMC's High Quality texture packs, instead I use Ojo Bueno which is pretty good for weaker systems.
  16. I am scared of upgrading my PC. I don't even want to know what is going to replace my beloved Win 7.
  17. That game reminds me of Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World.
  18. I don't have The Old Hunters dlc yet but I'm definitely looking for a chance to buy it. Heard a lot of good things about it.
  19. Yeah, that along with Skill are the stats that I haven't invested much in. I am getting addicted to this game. I should go and brutalize that pig. :D I also remember the bridge with the werewolves. I should go check it out, I'm in for some more gut-churning boss-fights! Gotta love From Software. Also, thanks for the hints mate!
  20. I didn't encounter the optional boss. I do recall skipping a certain part of the sewers because as I entered, I saw this huge Rhino-like(Not sure, was too scared too double check!)creature and I was on my way to opening shortcuts/doors so I ran away. I just noticed yesterday that I might have skipped a part in the sewers completely. Is it there? I have saved 2 npc's so far. The little girl that was asking me to find her mother. I sent her to Iosefka's Clinic and then noticed that she had given me a music box I though maybe I could have actually found her mom? I also sent that grumpy old woman near the bridge to Iosefka's Clinic. I could have also sent them to that other guy who claims he is sane, but acts like a lunatic(forgot his name), but decided not to. I wasn't much pleased with Iosefka's rewards though, mostly consumable items I haven't found a use for yet. I mean look at poor Gilbert, you talk to the guy two times and he gives you a flamethrower! I have a Cleaver +2, Flamethrower +1 and the shotgun which I haven't upgraded yet. Bloodborne brought back some neat memories from 2009, trying to discover how Demon's Souls works for the first time and going through all those pages of Demon's Souls Wiki. I still haven't figured everything out in Bloodborne, gotta check out my stats again which brings me to my only complaint about this game: why are the stats not properly explained in the options? I mean they are, but it sure takes some time to get used to. I have to go on fiddle with the character-stats screen a bit and see the item descriptions and such. Can't remember what I chose at the beginning of the game, but I like my character. I have high Arcane, Vitality, Strength and Stamina.
  21. Non-optional boss I think. It was a fellow that went by the name of 'Father Gascoigne'.
  22. I watched a couple of guys doing the same stage last night, the frustration was delicious I finally killed the damn thing. Molotovs are your friend.
  23. Tried beating the first boss in Bloodborne. Everything was running fine until he transformed...
