But online dating ain't gonna get me no Shirai.

I wouldn't mind a jet sim...*cough*...my joystick hasn't seen action in years! :D On a different note: I just got Persona 5! Whoop Dee Doo! EDIT: I also came across a Limited Edition of No Man's Sky for the PS4 and decided to buy it since it was relatively cheap and I must say it's ok. I'll treat it like a walking simulator.

I'd buy the sequel but no jet sim, no deal.

Shakedown Hawaii looks absolutely crazy. I had fun playing Retro City Rampage(still haven't beaten it yet) and this seems to be a good sequel to that game.

Regarding the Saints Row series: the second installment was the most enjoyable for me in terms of missions and writing but let's not forget the controls, SR3 & 4 had tighter control and handling all the way. I wish Volition would simply remaster SR2. :3 I always regret not having played those games during the time I had an N64 However, I do have an Xbox 360 that is collecting dust so I guess it is time put it to good use. Both Banjo Kazooie & Banjo Tooie should be available on the store. All I need now is some time and energy.

Oh well, I guess the game is good for what it is.

I wish they had done a proper Saints Row 5 instead or maybe something different without the 'Saturday Morning Cartoon' aesthetics and humor. I agree, it looks absolutely meh.

Best trailer I've seen in quite a while!

7 hours into Nier: Automata and I must say that I am really impressed. Combat is great, characters are fun and memorable and I just can't get the awesome soundtrack out of my head. It did. Vaults, Mutants, FEV, Harold, NCR...

I mentioned Elex at NMA years ago and got laughed at.

EDIT: deleted...wrong link posted.

Well, considering that most people here played Fallout 2 before Fallout 1(something that still baffles me to this day...) I guess that won't be a problem.
-
Never played the first ME or any for tha matter, I'm going to be startinf ME2 on pc (soon). It's the only one I have of the series, atm. Perfect choice, I'd say overall it's the best of the 3 since it has aged well and the story is not tied to the first game that much, but playing the first game and transfering your saves to second game can be its own reward. ME 3 can feel a bit disappointing especially if you play the games in order but it isn't bad by any means.

Playing Mass Effect 1 on the PS3. Still fun to mess around with different weapons and mods, gonna go for that 'one-hit kill low accuracy' shotgun setup again.

Games You Would Like to See as an Obsidian Isometric Game?
Katphood replied to DaCobbler's topic in Computer and Console
I want them to make a Cyberpunk/Sci-fi/Space opera themed isometric crpg with turned based combat similar to that of Fallout 1/2 but with more control over your party members. I say 'party members' instead of 'squad mates' because I want it to be more like Fallout 2, Shadowrun Returns and less like Fallout Tactics, XCOM or Jagged Alliance. -
I just hope it's not Full Auto. EDIT: Strafe is another low poly game which I hope will turn out to be awesome.

Wait...what?! Some topics I came across right now(regarding PS3's overheating and the infamous YLOD) date back to 2011. That's some 6 years ago.
-
The launch version of PS3 and generally the fat versions did overheat a lot. It's actually pretty interesting that it has managed to work this long. You should buy a new PS3 pronto since they just went out of production last month. Mine is still working but I'll buy a spare one next month since I still play a lot of games on it. Tip: try to find a slim version instead of the 500 GB super slim. The super slim has a weird disc tray and it can be bothersome.
-
So the reviews are in and the game is exactly what I thought it would be: a mediocre rpg with lifeless characters and boring fetch quests. I'll buy it when it's 30 bucks.

Finished playing Metro 2033 Redux. This replay reminded me how much attention to detail exists in this game, it would have been a whole lot better if it weren't for those stupid sections where you constantly have to deal with Hunters. Generally, the mutants in the game felt pretty bothersome, almost as if it didn't add much to the game, sort of like the werewolves in The Order 1886.

After googling a bit I came to a decisive conclusion: do not bother with ME: Andromeda. The trailers didn't impress me, the impressions are all over the place and as one of the users noted earlier, Persona 5 is just around the corner. My time is more precious than another Bioware/EA game!

I agree, I don't understand the complaints with the mako since that damn hover thingie was actually 10x more painful to navigate.

I've been playing Torment for about 5 hours now. I am enjoying it, a very faithful spiritual sequel to Planescape: Torment. If you enjoyed that game than you'll probably like this as well.
-
Me too, I'll buy it but It'll have to wait until I am done with Nier, Torment and some other games.

I didn't like Dragon Age: Inquisition because the story and the characters were boring and it became a real chore to finish the game. Dragon Age 2 had some pretty awful level design but at least it had an intriguing story to follow. The Mass Effect games were all great games in their own rights and they made for some good space opera in my opinion. Mass Effect: Andromeda seems to have fun gameplay and purdy visuals, I just hope the story can surprise me.
