I 'll admit that I don't go to DAC that often, but I am finding that my evenings are opening up... since I'm not home during the week, I can't get distracted by things there... so I figured that I would start playing with FO more, and the tools... only I couldn't remember where they were. :D and NMA scares me. strange how I don't have any problem walking into DAC though. - I can also remember the url for DAC easier than NMA -- can't remember WW's url either and since I am on different computers all the time - with the ones at school in deep freeze upon reboot, remembering addy's is important. -- and with Missy's boards down, I'm pretty much only here... cause I can't remember AC's web addy either. I really need to remember to write these things down as opposed to relying on sigs. B)

Yep... everything went down hill since I left because no one was left to actually fight for things (like keeping music on the site). Glad to hear they put the PST music back up. Heh, every once in a while I check out the site and notice that they haven't done crap with it since I left. Last week I had to email my old boss to tell him to remove the valentines day card from the interact page. Geesh! But the only thing they've done since I left is remove things, add some news items and recycle my old polls. KK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great to see you. and thanks for keeping in touch with your old boss, so that at least some of the website items are taken care of.

What happened to DAC? I can't seem to find the website. - and email is getting bounced. Did DAC get closed down? and if so, how long ago?

I would think most of us learned our lesson with EB posting that BG3 was in production almost a year after it had been canned. - and kept it up even after the date when they said it should be released. ... I really miss "Jefferson".

Yeah, and Troika sucks. yeah, it does, and that is what I first thought of. but my computer at home is darker than the one at school, and at school it looks much nicer.

^They took those files down a few months ago (I think... it was a few weeks after Sandi left as I recall). Their website is seriously old for the jobs page. They still have the game tester job posted from last year - can't they find QA people in a year? there can't be that few who want to work. anyone remember the days when peole were asking to do anything there, including QA?

Shame the image on their homepage looks like a bloodclot. yeah, I've noticed that depending on the monitor I'm viewing it from it really changes in how great it looks...or how totally discusting.

I am curious is that will happen, and what things will be sold, ie will they sell partially done games? or just the licenses and engines?

*huggers to the dwarf* I wasn't intentially bashing trolls, I was thinking about the fact that trolling (regardless of if the person is a known troll or not) is often dealt with best with ignore buttons. the other time that I see ignore features being used is when people get pm's from other posters which consist of graphic comments on what one can do to themselves. - which I often don't think are well done considering that most of the people on these boards enjoy RPG, and the discriptions could be much more creative, but alas, they just get rather crude.

and trolls are never rude? - because in my opinion it is the ones who are trolling who cause the greatest need for ignore buttons.

I think that was the plan anyway along with taking all the bells and whistles that we didn't really need out. yeah, there was talk about taking out the bells and whistles, but I think she wanted to do this at a more leasurely time, not because things were happening in bad ways.

I think Lightwave is the other program that I have seen requested, but haven't even seen on the shelves, or talked to anyone who used it. I don't remember the price, I think I was told that I can get it for 199, but I don't see it on their website. so it might be a case of I have to go in and order it.
