This is why I hate TSN. On the night when Montreal retires Ken Dryden's number, before a game against Ottawa, who are they televising? Did you say Ottawa at Montreal? If you did, you'd be wrong. Instead they are showing New York and Boston. <_<

Yeah I played it high school as well...and it was really something, I would have never of guessed it was so fun just watching it from a side... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We played it one day when we had no teacher around to make sure we behaved. I've never played a more violent game in my life.

I watched Bon Cop, Bad Cop last night. You can tell that all the French speaking actors are from Quebec, because they all speak so damn fast. My limited knowledge of French so I had to turn on the subtitles and even then it was a challenge. Anyway, the basic plot of the movie is that a cop from Ontario and a cop from Quebec have to work together to solve the murder of some guy who was (quite literally) killed on the border between the two provinces. Lots of stuff related to hockey that makes me thing the regulars in the NHL thread would get a kick out of it. The league commissioner in the movie is this little dweeb who is no more than 3 feet tall and curiously enough is named Buttman. He gets stuffed into the trunk of a car at the end. :cool:

I used to have the side of my case off, but then a bunch of spiders started living inside it. The case has been kept on since then to keep the bugs out. I have a standard beige computer case that has zero case fans so I don't have to worry about airflow problems as there isn't any airflow in the first place. As a consequence the huge nest of wires doesn't impact anything. Even if I wanted to route the wires around out of the way, the guy who put it together did such a crappy job that I would have to take everything apart before I could get any semblance of order.

Oh sure. Just rub it in my face why don't you! I sat through the entire Habs-Leafs game tonight. I watched every excruciating moment as my Habs were once again beaten by the Leafs. The Leafs of all teams! :'(

And so far my prediction is true. The Leafs are beating Montreal. Montreal hasn't beaten the Leafs in regulation so far this season. Two shootout wins, but that's it. <_<

In other words, it doesn't mean anything. It just sounded cool to the marketing guys.

I finally managed to finish level 24, and also the whole 20s column which was a breeze. This means that with the levels I've finished before, I now have all the levels up to 49 completed. :joy: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice work. Watching the Dilbert cartoon has cheered me up significantly. I should be able to play N again soon, likely without yelling at my brother if I get killed!

I was more of a chemistry person than a physics person.

My back trouble comes from attempting to shovel snow that's 80% water. That stuff is really, really heavy.

Which part of those songs do you hate? The songs themselves or the singers? There isn't a single song in the game that is actually performed by the original artist. And the Cher song is a bonus stage, but that only means that you likely won't have to play it on easiest difficulty and depending on how good you are, possibly the second easiest difficulty. If it's any consolation, the Ashlee Simpson, Cher and Avril Lavigne songs are all rather easy to the point that you'll very likely be able to beat them on your first time through. " The only songs that I didn't like were Jamiroquai - "Canned Heat" and David Bowie - "Let's Dance", mainly because they pissed me off so much while playing them. The beat markers didn't match up with the song. :angry:

The only thing that ever ticked me off about DVDs is how sometimes they would lock out my remote and force me to watch the stupid FBI warnings. As if we haven't seen them a million times already. <_<

I'd like to second this game. Lots of fun.

49 is fairly easy until the last room which has switches up against the walls all surrounded by mines. It's easy to see what you have to do, but the slightest mistake kills you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Must have been thinking of level 59 then. I only managed to finish episode 32 last night before the game got on my nerves. It seemed like it managed to get my frustrated a lot faster than I used to for the smallest things. It doesn't help that my computer isn't fast enough to run N and a music player at the same time without N lagging.

Joining the US and becoming part of the US are not necessarily the same thing Volo. Just like many other countries. What's your point? We are hardly unique in that aspect.

Not really. It's been a relatively major news story here in Canada for awhile, but I seriously doubt anything will come of it. He's been given some money and an official apology by the Canadian Government and I have a feeling that's all he will get out of it, except maybe a possible future book deal or something. The US and Canadian ambassadors will snipe at each other for a little while before something new comes up.

39 and 55 now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *checks his own install hoping it hasn't deleted his progress again* I'm pretty sure it's lost 3 or 4 episodes worth this time. I could have sworn I had completed up to 36. Although that's still not as bad as losing everything from 12 up to 63. Thanks to you I've started up again. Which on was 49? Did it have that really annoying one that was basically a three square tall tunnel swarming with mines and homing zap drones? It was either 49 or 59 and it had me stumped for months. I really don't look forward to having to beat that one again.
