The Great England Escape
American coffee has to be really vile for that to be true.

MassMffect Q & A @ Gamespy
That's sounds a lot like the same old crap.

Like Mr Bulock pointed out that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. And besides a rude option, a violent option, and a matter-of-fact option don't seem particularly impressive to me.

I have to say I'll be quite surprised if the dialogue choices that decide the outcome of quests in ME aren't exactly like that.

Yes, It seems to me that its combat is to X-Com type games what BG was to turn-based RPGs. Of course, I haven't played ME, so I guess I'm just talking out of my other end here.

I don't know. It sounds a lot like KOTOR with a different combat system. And the combat system reminds me of a lite version of Jagged Alliance. But, as I will never own an Xbox 360, it doesn't really matter to me.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - John Finn's Wife It's incredible, and I it's the first time I've listened to it in months.

I should have stayed quiet, then...

When you say "cuppa", do you mean coffee? Because, if you do mean coffee, that is so incredibly untrue, it just boggles the mind. Edit: If you don't then, of course, I'll shut up.

Movies You Have Seen Lately
Slither (horror comedy) will premiere tomorrow here in Portugal, and I was wondering what you people think. I'm a bit puzzled because the critics seem to have loved it but, despite that, it completely tanked at the box office.

How was your day?
Deep down, we all do.

Obsidian guys' personal websites
If they ever make an RPG set in Obsidian's offices, there should be a quest involving a romance between the two.

The patch doesn't seem particularly interesting for single-player, so I'll hold on until I decide to start a new game.

@Crashgirl: By the way, you said before that your computer couldn't handle Stalker at 1280x960, but my machine is a bit weaker than yours and it runs Stalker at that resolution just fine. So, it seems to me that you should give it a try at a higher resolution.

But he didn't have a tail on him. In fact I think I've killed at least two of those and none of them had a tail. Perhaps you just have to be lucky to get that tail.

Was it that cave where you go for nimble's quest?

I'm having loads of fun. I finally managed to take out the bandits by taking the shotgun off the friendly guy's corpse , and shotgunning almost everyone at point-blank range. After that, I've been avoiding bigger fights (like the military guys under the bridge), and doing those easy quests for the village guys. One quest I'm having problems with is the pseudo tail dog fetch quest, as I can't seem to find one, and the PDA doesn't tell where to find it. I did get a blind dog's tail but that didn't help me at all. They managed to get the game world just right. It's immersive. And the thunder storms are pretty.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the first mission. I get killed, my squad buddies get killed; it's a bloody massacre. The best I've been able to do so far was reduce the enemies to just two guys. However, a shotgun at point-blank took me out. The AI doesn't seem too shabby.
