  1. Didn't know if anyone saw it or for how long it is, but the latest DLC of CK2 is 50% off at Gamestop and is a steam key.
  2. How much micro managing does this game have? Would it be akin to something like Knights of Honor?
  3. I just started TLOU due to what everyone has been saying. About 1-2 hours in and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Has anyone tried out the MP yet? Anyone wanna through their PS3 handles out to possibly play together sometime? Mine would be SadExchange , go figure.
  4. I wanted to chime in with a couple things. If anyone wants a DOTA 2 before it goes live, I think I still have about 4-5 gift passes. Also, wanted to ask about Crusader Kings II. I see a lot of people here play it. Does it have campaigns or mostly sandbox modes?
  5. Just started a game of kings bounty crosswords. For those of you familiar, the items I equip to my "hero" help my troops overall in battle right since I can't directly control my hero in combat? It's been awhile since I played The Legends.
  6. Lol. That is awesome!
  7. I'm hoping they soon announce a release date for the pc version. Would much rather play on something that can keep a consistent frame rate.
  8. Has anyone tried out Xenonauts? Any good this early on? Also, I'm looking forward to Legends of Dawn as well. Reminds me of Sacred with more components added it. I'm really hoping they announce a release date soon after being pushed back from February.
  9. Yeah, the devs have said this last patch was specifically for steam issues and that fixes like the scout bug and others would be addressed later this week or early next
  10. I'm just waiting till the first patch comes out to play my first game due to some bugs I've been hearing about. Lately I feel that you need to wait till at least one patch has been released to enjoy the game without some pretty apparent bugs, speaking of Eador, and some other titles as of late. AAA titles or not, everything seems to need at least one patch out the door.
  11. I've yet to start the game. Trying to wait till the first patch due to some recent games needing it. In reading your post though I'm not understanding the poor choice you made and wasted the 100 xp on. What would that have been?
  12. Right now, playing through Van Helsing which has been pretty decent. I think I'm coming up on the end of the second act. Also, spending some time with the Grim Dawn Alpha which I've been liking and from that, a little time with Titan Quest which I really enjoyed due the environments. Thinking about picking up Expeditions: Conquistadors as I watched that 2 hour lets play yesterday with the developers and it looked pretty good.
  13. I always get the urge to load up my save, but this exact thing consistently happens to me everytime, so thanks for pushing that load off another few months for me as well.
  14. Ahh' content wise, no. But it's a solid game through and through. I played the beta for a bit and am making my way through the game now and having fun but one complaint I do have is that when going the melee route, there doesn't feel like there's any umph to your hits. I'm not looking for hit detection but take a game like Titan quest or the upcoming Grim Dawn, I guess I get spoiled with how their melee feels. But again, a solid game so far. Then I realized I didn't answer your question. Better than Torchlight...I would say I'd have to wait and see till all three parts are out because the lack of new game plus for Van Helsing can really determine the length of the game to most players, however playing through the entirety of the trilogy may change my mind, so as for now' Torchlight 2, at least, still wins for me.
  15. After playing through the CB and some of the retail release of Van Helsing, it is a Diablo game to an extent. It has loot, leveling system, and story, but the devs have said it's the first in a trilogy where the game is mostly about the story. From what I understand, there isn't a new game + to the game, and I don't believe enemies respawn, so I believe it's just meant as a 10sih hours of story based loot collecting from what I understand, but we'll see as I progress further into it. Loving Grim Dawn right now pretty much as much as you are Keyrock. It seems like it'll be a great game for sure. Also in the future is Legend of Dawn, which is a Diablo like game, well, more like Sacred I believe where I believe they're trying to have a more intricate crafting system, and more survival elements to the rpg scene, but not sure when that will be out as they said February, however it seems the late release is due to steam integration and gog.com policy (DRM-Free) being added.
  16. I just bought a Loyalist Edition and am enjoying the alpha as well. My first time through, I'm playing a Soldier/Occultist I believe which is the witchblade. Mainly Cultist for the familiar so far, but I'm really enjoying the gameplay so far. Nice combat pacing and the environment feels good so far. Only one problem so far is a a "hitch" every now and then when the game freezes for a couple seconds and then just puts my character where they should've been a couple seconds later. hard to describe, but if I could compare it to something, it would be the rubber-banding in Titan Quest, without seeing your character actually move there, just sort of warp there. I'm hoping this is something that can be worked out, but other than that, really enjoying the game so far and look forward to playing out this character and other combinations as they become available.
  17. I saw your other post as well and wanted to ask just how much content was released with the alpha or if you've come to the end of it yet?
  18. I had this happen a few weeks after release where my account got hacked and all the gear I had was gone and there was some good five links with perfect colors. Takes the wind out of your sails for sure.
  19. Okay, So I just bought the DnD anthology from gamersgate due to being $6.00 which I think is insane for the content and am downloading it now. As it's not downloaded, I don't know if it's including Trials of the Luremaster, does anyone know this? I'll probably rebuy it from gog once it goes on sale there due to liking their service more and the ability to download one game at a time. Anyone who has bought it from gamersgate have any tips for the setup? I want to go the BGT route and use the install process gog has on their website. That should work as well with this copy I'm assuming.
  20. I really have been enjoying DD. I played it at release till about lvl 36 or so, then life got busy and stopped. This time around though, I picked a new class and am at about lvl 34 so far and really enjoying it. Already picked up DD:DA and I'm excited to level up to be able to go to the island to see what's out there. This, to me, was a really decent game for how much I don't hear about it. I know it's not the regular western RPG, but it certainly is something fresh.
  21. That's what I think I'm gonna do is wait for the next sale on GOG. I do enjoy they're service and features. Thanks for the help and info.
  22. I'm not so much interested in the NWN series as I am with the BG, IWB, PT, and TOEE series. I did see Zoraptor's post, but wasn't quite sure exactly if it was the GOG versions or not, but that is definitely good to hear that it is. One last question, for those that have had the chance to play it, would it be better to get the BGEE or does it not really matter?
  23. Anyone know if GOG will have the combo package discount for the DnD titles again, or was it a one time thing? I have a bunch of IE games on disc, but would rather deal with a download and the ability to play on Windows 7 without hassle. Also, the package on gamersgate, is that the same as one would find on gog or do we know if I need to finagle it to work on Windows 7? With all this talk of the IE games, feel like getting back into them.
  24. I always seem to miss these huge sales on the IE games. I have them allow disc but would prefer digital as well. Well, maybe time.
  25. After finishing Bioshock Infinite, I've been looking back at my back catalog and realizing that I need to push through some of these games because that started off strong but at different points, life got busy and I moved on. So now, I'm trying to get through the rest of Far Cry 3, which I really like and believe I'm almost done, Borderlands 2 I think will still wait because playing that game SP is not the most fun in my opinion, Dishonored I've only put a handful of hours into and enjoyed, Hitman: Absolution, gosh I was really enjoying that game, Steam says I have 23 hours into Kingdoms of Amalur (I agree, not a lot of connection with what's going on, but fun gameplay (Combat)), and Sleeping Dogs really deserves to be finished. But then Torchlight 2 is sitting there, with Workshop now and the possibility of mods, and right now, I'm playing some Dragon's Dogma getting ready for the upcoming expansion. Just need more time honestly. In the end, think I'm gonna try and get through the rest of Far Cry 3, because I believe I'm the closest with that one.
