  1. Dangit! Put a spoiler there next time  Now I know how episode 3 ends I'm just teasing
  2. It would probably be just as dull Oh, did I mention, I don't like ultima
  3. ahahahahaha I wonder if the devs "can't" mention it
  4. we need a "someone is beating someone else with a stick emoticon"
  5. You noticed that too eh B)
  6. That's not a good analogy, The Empire Strikes Back is the middle of a whole story arc. The equivelent of Malak capturing Bastila on the Leviathan.

Yup, and in consoles it's not to be found.

No they lack choice. The depth puts most of the non Japanese RPG efforts to shame. Dont confuse depth with choice. I stand corrected, and I change my answer. They lack choice... and depth.
  9. But then... in all likelyhood they are dancing to Lucasart's whip... how much control do they really have over this?
  10. Darque replied to TankorMike's topic in Obsidian General
They do tend to lack depth.
  11. That's not the point Mission is tough, and cool and therefor should survive her wounding. B)
  12. I'd have Mission just really messed up and not dead
  13. I think interactive cutscense are more fun myself. I bet they are a booger to create though.
  14. The final fantasy games are probably one of the most "basic" games ever made... *waits for Shadowpaladin to flip out*
  15. TOEE is a great example... remove the incredible amount of bugs and the rather uninspiring story... and what you have is a fantastic translation of pnp to PCrpg. More developers should follow this example... well... and make sure to not use Atari as a publisher.. and make sure there's not so many bugs.
  16. *pokes Gorth* Hey now. For the record I played KotOR first, then picked up the d20 game for reference. KotOR was and still is one of my all time favorite games... but there's so much within the d20 pnp game it's based off of that could have been used to make the game even better than what it was..... ...but KotOR is still an awesome game
  17. Not really. Same schtick different game. 3 -> 5 6 -> 8 4 -> 7 -> 10 Can't testify to 9... it bored me after about an hour 1 was too basic, and 2 was a step in the wrong direction.
  18. Darque replied to TankorMike's topic in Obsidian General
I agree with this. I really, really, really hope KotOR 2 allows for more options, and more accurate ones.
  19. Bzzzt... and Shadowpaladin drops the ball once more... To "make your own" you have to... well... make your own. What they have is a watered down version of the d20 ruleset... that's hardly making your own rules.
  20. doubtful, if there were any sites, Lucasarts and Wizards of the Coast would likely go after them like a shark. I heard that someone posted a SW to Rifts conversion on the Rifts main boards and Lucasarts sued them for it (sued the Paladium company) LA is VERY touchy when it comes to "canonal" things. <_<
