You'll want to watch ep5 then, there's more boobs, a blowjob, and even some tit-sucking! Tyrion and Catelyn's reaction to that = Great if somewhat disturbing scene. You also forgot animal cruelty too. All in all, a few minor quibbles for me. I loved it, personally.

Funny stuff. From the Eurogamer preview, it looks like DS3 has quite a bit of humor.

I think most of them are pretty meh, but the clawplanet one is quite neat. Not to say that the covers selected have been good, the regular me2 cover is absolutely horrible. Happily, the CE is IMO the best one: http://xboxoz360.files.wordpress.com/2010/...ors-edition.jpg TBH, even that x360 version of it is not good, too busy. The PC CE (which is the one I have) is a lot better. That CE cover looks really good, but then again I've always been a sucker for minimalist covers.

The Mass Effect Covers That Could Have Been Is it just me or are those covers much better than the ones for 1 and 2?
-
Camera issues? That's worrying. That was my biggest gripe about NWN2. Hopefully Obsidian nails it down soon.

Ha, uber indeed. Thanks, Malcador.

Ubersampling?

"How To Kill A Witcher" shows combat and some finishers. No spoilers. It's also very funny. "Witcher's World" has some information on the four kings of the game. It also covers why TW2 begins the way it does. If you've read any number of the previews that have been out, you won't be spoiled in the slightest. Do avoid the first three videos though. There's a lot of new footage that is truly spoiler-worthy. Glorious, but spoiler-worthy.

I almost feel like I'm beating a dead horse but anyway...here's a summary of all the trailers that CD Projekt released today (Note: some may be spoilerish). Hope Trailer Love & Blood Trailer Disdain & Fear Trailer How To Kill A Witcher Witcher's World And at the end of the Disdain & Fear trailer... <3 CDP

The Witcher 2: Exclusive Hope Trailer Chopin's Nocturne Op. 55 No. 1 + TW2 = awesomesauce EDIT: Spoilers ahoy. Only watch if you can't resist some more glorious TW2 footage.

World of The Witcher 2 EDIT: The new site can be accessed here.

Thanks for the writeup, sorophx. No, there are a lot of videos with noticeable slowdowns in action scenes, and none of the previews so far as hinted at someone running it at 60 fps without dips. Granted, honestly, considering how good it looks, not-optimal performance, as long as not bad, would be okay by me, but that's probably just because the original game makes me expect the worst. From the looks of it, Ripten's Dave Oshry said he was running the game at 45-55 fps at Ultra despite those settings not being finalized yet. For high, he said he ran at 60 fps. Of course, that may be due to his PC. I hope it's optimized. /fingers crossed Here's G4tv's preview. And here's the sixth developer diary "Combat" from Gamespot. EDIT: Buck at GB has his preview up as well. Link

Thought this was funny. I thought the last episode was great. It may have been a bit exposition-heavy for the average viewer but I didn't mind at all. Deadwood had tons of dialogue and that was a great show. I'm also liking how the show has fleshed out some of the minor characters. In the books, Alliser Thorne is pretty much a ****. While he's still a **** in the show, the talk he had with Jon and Sam made him seem...more human, I guess.

What magazine was it? Any other details from the review would be appreciated.

Yeah, my processor is a bit below the minimum as well. Everything else is around minimum requirements except video card so the game should be playable. From the looks of it though, TW2 is a game that deserves to be played on Ultra. I think this will be the game that forces me to upgrade...
-
I'm re-reading Blood of Elves right now and Sapkowski doesn't describe her much. The book says she has long, loose dark hair and she looked 30 when she was roughly 300 years old. Meh, more freedom for CDP I suppose. Yeah, I need to upgrade everything but my video card.

Destructoid: Meet the Women of The Witcher 2 Huh. So that's what Filippa Eilhart looks like. EDIT: I was wondering where Gameplay Video 2 was since the environments video is Gameplay Video 3. Here's #2, courtesy of Gametrailers.

The last environments video just had images. This one has in-game footage. Interesting about the snowy landscape. I thought CDP said there wasn't going to be snow. Looking great as usual.

Finished Alpha Protocol. Things like long loading times (probably my PC, most likely), a jerky camera and a bugged Reload Last Checkpoint were annoying but didn't stop me from enjoying the hell out of it.

AtomicGamer: George Ziets/Rich Taylor Interview

Just got Alpha Protocol (I know I'm late!). Granted, I'm still in the beginning but I'm really enjoying it so far. Apparently the game is even better after you leave Saudi Arabia. Can't wait to see how the game pans out.

Gametrailers GT must have been running TW2 on a crappy PC because there are some frame rate issues. Gamestar.de DAT ATMOSPHERE. DAT GRAPHICS. DAT EVERYTHING. The Eurogamer preview is pretty interesting since Alec Meer did not at all like The Witcher, if I recall. To see a very positive preview from him bodes well.

Aww, they lost Tess and Joe? Damn shame. Best of luck to you all. I'm not too familiar with the business practices of the game industry but how common is it for laid-off employees to return to the company? Didn't George Ziets leave Obsidian once and then came back?
