US Elections 2016
Bruce, you can relax. Nate Silver's maths models still has Clinton as the heavy favorite to win the nomination. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/it-gets-harder-from-here-for-bernie-sanders/ DATE STATE CLINTON SANDERS 2/20 Nevada 50.3 28.1 2/27 South Carolina 60.5 29.3 3/8 Michigan 59.9 29.0 3/15 Florida 61.0 26.0 3/15 North Carolina 55.9 28.3 3/15 Ohio 52.8 38.6 4/5 Wisconsin 45.6 43.4 4/26 Pennsylvania 51.4 28.0 6/7 California 46.3 32.9 And more importantly, Irish bookmakers (aka the real powerbrokers behind the Hibernian Conspiracy Plots) still has Hillary as the overwhelming odds on favorite over Bernie. Clinton: 1 to 4 Sanders: 10 to 3 This means that a degenerate Irishman betting on Clinton needs to wager four potatoes to make a one potato profit. Meanwhile, a different Irishman betting three potatoes on Sanders would make a ten potato profit if he were to inexplicably win the nomination. Betting on Sanders isn't exactly a dead money proposition, but it would be a mammoth upset.

What you having for dinner tonight?
Bacon-wrapped anything --causing heart attacks and cancer 1% at a time. But so worth it.

What you having for dinner tonight?
Going to the Warriors game tonight and was originally planning on picking up some illicit bacon-wrapped hotdogs with all the fixings --grilled onions, peppers, ketchup, mayo, mustard, hot sauce...but now, I may go with the fried catfish they sell in concessions.

US Elections 2016
Well, the youth vote carried the Obama election in '08. Doubt it's going to reach the same level with turnout.

What you having for dinner tonight?
Gah. There's a ready supply of discrete salmon heads and catfish heads at my fish market. Will have to ask the fish guy if he's got some haddock heads in the back.

Gromnir, what fish do you use as a base for your fish stock? Head, bones, and tails?

What you having for dinner tonight?
Gah. I was going to beer braise mussels yesterday but my fish market ran out. Used clams instead. Still pretty good but not the same thing.

Getting it in the hole. Basketball 2K15-2K16
Both sides will conduct their due diligence and explore what needs to happen to make it work. But ultimately the Warriors are going to have to pass. They are the defending champs and on a record setting wins pace and are on the brink of creating a dynasty. Why break it up and risk breaking up this team by getting rid of key rotation guys and introducing a significant new variable?

US Elections 2016
And I think a lot of Hillary's intangability for the population really comes down to how her campaign portrays her. I've said it before, and will say it again, her experiance makes everything she says (unless she's caught almost totally off guard) come off as prepared. So people don't like her because her speeches are prepared ? You also support her Calax...sorry I forgot No, people dislike her because she's to prepared. She's to perfectly political for them. They don't know that she'll do anything she says because she seems like she'd prefer to say what's correct (for her audience) vs what she thinks is actually right. That's where Sanders and Trump are scoring points, they don't care about traditional politics as they were, so they don't care that their ideas might not test well with men 18-45 (or whatever) but they still stick by them. Hillary has been in politics so long that she comes off as incredibly focus tested and always with the most political answer for her audience. Well put! I think this is where Hillary lacks Bill's political and communication skills. Bill can think quickly on his feet better than Hillary and it's pretty rare that he's going to be caught off guard. He can explain policy and nuance and make you believe it like no one else can.

US Elections 2016
Me too but my minority dem friends prefer Sanders Most of my family and friends live on the coasts --California (North and South), Washington D.C., NYC, Philadelphia, Oregon. A few were Sun Devil and Wildcat graduates though. They're conservative though.
