I discovered an article about my wife in a 25yo youth magazine

Gestylingtipps indeed. -
Lmao. Well they couldn't go 8 or 16k just yet.

Kingdom come deliverance is Cryengine, and it looks great at mid-high settings at 1440p 60fps. No stuttering, no upscaling, no ray tracing, on the GOAT. the Gtx1080. 9 years old and still doing it. I think we are at a point where the graphics feature arms race is turning out to be quite detrimental to the overall experience, unless you are willing to pay an absurd amount of money you will be left wanting. They keep adding features that cancel out generational performance improvements and are themselves not as desirable as a stable framerate and frame time graph.

I was gonna say a fear and hunger mod, but it's a bit too anime.

^^ I picked my new phone solely on battery life, figuring that everything else would be just fine. It was. The main way Nvidia are lying to us this time around is with multi frame generation. It's for high refresh rate monitors, like 240 hrz and beyond. in those cases it unlocks what the screen can do and looks very smooth and it's arguable worth the sacrifice. In other cases it just introduces input lag. Number goes up, gameplay goes down, and you are better off with single frame generation or none.

I should have 'scalped' as many 4090s as i could afford. I would have made a killing.
-
the local price comparison site that I use has no 5090 in stock, since the 'launch' their 4090s are priced almost identically to their non existent 5090s, about a 20% increase since last month. deepseek doesn't even need cuda.

Google image search results for "Heil Musk".

I would also say that the 50 series could be just like the 20 series in that it boasts a lot of fancy features that are yet to be fully realized. Jensen wants us to join the AI revolution, just like he wanted us to join the ray tracing revolution. That didn't turn out to be that fantastic, at least not for a long while. If you want to run LLMs locally, just get an AI PCI card.

The last few years MSRP has been a fiction though. Those are founders models, not enough of those to affect the price of the partner models, and those are likely going to be heavily scalped as well.

James Cameron isn't dead. I read two weeks ago that he was. Must have been AI slop.

So with VAT and regional pricing a 5090 would run me about 3700 usd. yeah, no.

I always thought the Ciri portions needed more time to really pay off. you weren't even allowed to use the inventory playing as Ciri. -

I kinda lost interest when I noticed it was 3 player coop. roguelike, designed to played in endless iteration with randomized loot. No PVP, all PVE. It's a multiplayer forever game, only missing the micro transactions. Sony will probably insist on those soon enough. -

well, we didn't really get to know her. not like Geralt. If they can find a good voice actress it's up in the air i think. btw this has all been known since late 2016, so hardly a shocker. -

That's the nameless king. It's definitely that model, i would recognise it anywhere. Cool factor is maxed to the max. Other than that I'm kinda worn out on elden ring now to be honest, I would prefer another similar darksoulsy setting. -

It's not that special, don't waste money. -
Is it a stunt ? I mean the whole of parliament voted for the lifting of martial law. It seems a bit flimsy doesn't it.
