I wouldn't say so and I'm an immigrant. There are some real ****heads that should be deported asap. Instead we decide to deport people that actually want to work. Three friends of mine were deported. They all had crap jobs, working 10-12 hour shifts just to be able to live here. Good enough? Nope. Let's bring in people that only get here because they know they'll get money even if they don't work. I was of course, being sarcastic. I know. The funny thing that there are people blaming them.

Meanwhile in London: Beheading in broad daylight
Labadal replied to Morgoth's topic in Way Off-Topic
I haven't read the thread, but I felt that I had to respond to this. I have nothing against Muslims in general. I have Muslim friends, I work with Muslim kids and I like them. But, I will always have a problem with Muslims like these. I come from a village that was almost wiped out by Muslims on several occasions. I guess you have read about what the Turks did with the Armenians and Assyrians? We migrated to Sweden because we simply couldn't live in our country simply for not being Muslims. Both countries we lived in had the same problem. When I see stuff like this, it reminds me of my family's past. We came to Sweden with barely nothing. My parents had to work their asses of to make it over here. I can tell you from personal experience that what you saw there is a regular thing in the Middle East. My friends' cousin was beheaded because he's not a Muslim. His head was delivered to his parents house. Tell me that isn't ****ed up. We got away from that **** and now it is following us to Europe. I don't mind living with Muslims, what scares me are the fundamentalists that want US to change. When I condemn these people and the way I do it, I think I have some God damn valid ground to do so. -
Ouch. This post is 100% accurate.

I haven't read most of the thread, but I seriously can't see how PC gaming is dead. There might not be as many big AAA exlusives as there used to be, but we are getting more console ports than ever. This is also true for Japanese games. The Last Remnant Dark Souls Dark Souls 2 Vanquish Binary Domain Metal Gear Rising We've gotten some Ys games on Steam. Most multiplatform games have PC ports. Basically only Sony exclusive games are the ones that don't get ported. The jrpg genre in general also don't get many ports. It's good then that I like playing both console games and PC games. The PC market doesn't look as it used to, but saying it is dead is an over the top statement.

Another 10 hr work day. I have another one in a few days. I've gotten a lot of OT these last months. Getting a little tired, but I guess the money are worth it for now. Can't wait for the trip to Germany. I just need to get away from home for a week. I might also drink myself senseless on one or more occasions while I am there.

I usually just smack them to death, sorry.

From the NWN2 OC, I liked the parts of the game spent in the city of Neverwinter. I'd like to see a Project Eternity expansion that takes place in a big city. It wouldn't be about saving the entire world, but could still have all the fantasy stuff in there. I'd like to see a more political and faction based plot. It could be about you reaching the top, or your failure to do so. Dragon Age II didn't live up to what I was hoping for. The Divinity 2 expansion Flames of Vengance did it fairly well. I'd still like to see a game that uses the Storm of Zehir dialog system. This would probably also be something to be considered for an expansion.

It depends what "dead" means. I'm interested in the following games: Project Eternity Wasteland 2 Torment: Tides of Numenera Dead State Divinity: Original Sin The Banner Saga Shadowrun Returns The Witcher 3 Cyberpunk 2077 Grim Dawn South Park: Stick of Truth Maybe: The Lords of the Fallen Sacred 3 Demonicon Bound by Flame Divinity: Dragon Commander Football Manager 2014 Dragon Age 3 Avadon: The Black Fortress 2 Chaos Chronicles Thief 4

Bought new dumbbells that only weigh 9 kg. My shoulder/chest is in a less than good condition. I've decided to take matters into my own hands and do my own exercises.

Beat the second boss in Okami HD. That was a fun but not very challenging battle. The game is fairly easy overall. Can't complain though, having lots of fun.

I think this is how many people think about these types of games, but I have to ask: Why is an "Action RPG" like The Witcher 2 not a "real" role-playing game? The action isn't actually the point (Baldur's Gate certainly has lots of action), the difference is that it's realtime. And this doesn't actually diminish any other features associated with the RPG-ness of a game (the game has choices, consequences, different ways to level your character etc.). So why is a "realtime RPG" not as much of an RPG as a "turnbased RPG"? This is what I don't understand. For me, games like Baldur's Gate are actually some sort of hybrid between RPG and strategy game. In combat, you do not roleplay a certain character at all, you simply play up to 6 different characters. (Of course nobody forces you to control these other characters, or you could go solo, but I believe when we talk about BG2 we think of tactical party-based combat.) Arcanum, Fallout, Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls and The Witcher let you control exactly one character. One could make a good case that they are the real RPGs. The Witcher is a real rpg. What I mean is that you play as one character and choose when to swing your weapon. Thus, I call it action rpg, but it isn't meant to be used in a derogatory way. The same goes for Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas that are 2 of my favorite games from this generation. It's just that it somewhat plays like an action game, but still regains all the role playing aspects you get from your choices and consequences. In the IE games for example, I click on an enemy, and my character will fight that enemy. Maybe one could say that the games that I usually call action rpgs are more cinematic.

I just killed Feargus Orc Heart in Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir. I didn't want to do it but he left me no choice.

Games like Diablo, Titan Quest and Torchlight aren't really even action role playing games. It's just what we call them because of the leveling and loot. There's no role playing. Most Japanese role playing games aren't really role playing games either if you want to be picky. There are a few that has choices the player can make, but they aren't many. Games like The Witcher series, Morrowind, Mass Effect, Fallout: New Vegas and Alpha Protocol are in my eyes action role playing games. Then we have the party based role playing games that I would probably use as the closest example of a real role playing game. Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate series, Fallout and arcanum. I usually use the term ARPG, JRPG, CRPG, WRPG, SRPG (or TRPG) because they are terms I've always used and I don't really have a better name. It's easy for me to know what type of game someone refers to when they use these abbreviations.

Continuing with my Okami HD play-through I love the game despite the repetitive combat. I did finally get a new weapon and the ability to shield myself with a sub-weapon, so that's good. Beat the first boss today. I'm not getting in as much gaming time as I want, spending too much time on the internet.

I don't think we know yet. It's just rumors at this point. Someone at the company said yes, someone else said no. They can't even agree on it internally.

They probably will do something similar. But they could get some goodwill if they don't do it.

Obsidian to co-develop MMORPG Skyforge with Allods team
Labadal replied to C2B's topic in Obsidian General
That would mean that I'd have to buy Fallout 4 / TES VI to begin with. -
I was looking at the Obsidian job listings just for fun. I always do just to see what kind of people they are looking for. For the first time in my life, I was tempted to apply for one of the positions just for fun, but I've never worked with video games and I probably don't have the balls to apply anyway. All I have is ideas, but I've been told that only ideas won't get you long in this industry.
