  1. That could prove to be a problem indeed. Kneel before your new DD overlords. Kneel or be knelt!
  2. You better hide, quote the developer:
  3. As great as the Twin Worlds are, the Great Wheel is way awesomer.
  4. There's an actual novelization of mostly in-game dialogue floating around somewhere, the printed one was crap AFAIK. EDIT: For example here
  5. Aww, at least you learned something new.
  6. As I said like two times before, I couldn't care less. I'm not even going to read your quote. I'm just telling you how to do it right.
  7. Check out the Steam pdf manual here. It helps quite a bit.
  8. Another fun game is ROM CHECK FAIL, which combines a bunch of old classics like Mario, Galaga etc. into a single weird game. Try it, it's free
  9. I remember reading the walking without worries part, but not the Torment comment. I actually have that Torment part on a magazine, but I don't have a scanner nor camera. And it's in Finnish so you would have to trust my traslation I could attest it for you. I can understand a bit of Finnish as well, let's form the Committee For Verifying Deathdealer's Claims. If the reference is from a book etc. you usually provide the name of the magazine, issue number/date, page and paragraph.
  10. April Ryan <3. She's way more fun than TNO. Hmm what is she was the protagonist in PST? *gets sucked into a singularity of pure awesome*
  11. I remember reading the walking without worries part, but not the Torment comment. As I said, I wouldn't care if they said that Jesus himself came down from the heavens to guide their hand while making the game, but for those that might it's nice to provide a link.
  12. Gookkle? Gouuggle? Pogle? What's that? Goddammit, I'm not your secretary, go google it your self I personally couldn't care less, but if I was making (apparently) crazy claims, I'd be ready to back them up with links.
  13. Dracula is the original, goes without saying, don't know Carmilla and never saw Nosferatu. M.A.G.U.S. has mana and it doesn't regenerate. Arcane mages use psy to gather mana from the surroundings, sorceresses and warlocks drink potions of power (which reduces their endurance) and fire mages turn heat into mana. Yes, I know you don't know M.A.G.U.S. o_O Woke up from another alcohol-induced coma, I see As for the mana, I was speaking generally, I'm sure there's a few exceptions. Apparently Deathdealer does not know the wonders of Google.
  14. It did, didn't it... but I'm not Jeff nor connected to his company, just a fan of good work ~from studios large and small. I wasn't accusing you and I wouldn't care even if you were Jeff himself(whoever Jeff is). It just sounded like a long well-crafted love letter Maybe I should try the demo...
  15. What I'm saying is that it is easy to create whatever persona for yourself. You can't really prove anything so accusing people is empty and meaningless. How about a poll about whether murder is ok or not? What good would a poll do?
  16. Torrents save the day Checksums can really help every now and then.
  17. Play some Fahrenheit or Prince of Persia: Two Thrones to train up for all the QTEs, because there's a lot of them. I do kind of like what I've read about the story.
  18. It is a different era, a new generation of gamers with their own favorite games, platforms and opinions. That's just how things go. There might be a Halo forum with a similar thread mulling over the awesomeness of Halo 1's plot and condemning the sequels. You might say that they are wrong, but they might say the same about you.
  19. I like where this is going. The internet is (mostly) anonymous, each one of us could be whatever, blaming each other and then defending yourselves holds no meaning or purpose.
  20. I'm sure there's an actual forum for PST somewhere like Gamebanshee or Spellhold Studios. Torment was pretty sweet, but it's also a relic of a time long gone, a better time. A time when I was but a bright-eyed kid with a world of possibilities in front of me, now I'm just another jaded fan reminiscing about past glory.
  21. That sounded like a well crafted attempt to sell Geneforge
  22. Companies charge whatever people are willing to pay. This shouldn't come as a shock to anybody. Modern Warfare 2 will cost ~$10 more in the UK because of "currency differences" and the Activision CEO said that they would charge more for their games if they could.
  23. Are you like the official forum Gestapo or something? Too bad we don't have custom tags here
  24. Possibly... But geting to 9999 has one hell of an epic sense of accomplishment... Which is something most games now lack... For like two seconds. Then you realize that it is just a number in a game that you will probably never play again and feel bad about wasting all that time on something so meaningless. I never got the crazy must complete everything 100% philosophy. I usually just experience the story and steer clear of any New Game+ stuff and useless collectibles. I just don't find that fun. To each their own, I guess.
