  1. Just let it go. There will be a bunch of potentially awesome games out in a few weeks. Don't worry, be happy!

or civilized poles That's like saying civilized barbarians, an impossibility if I ever saw one.
  3. May-June 2010 is more than "a month or so" away
  4. That's a really awesome creepy song and the trailer was really nice as well. Props to the marketing department, too bad those guys aren't doing the ME2 or DA trailers...
  5. The internet did a really good job beating it to death.
  6. It's a possibility, but I'm still pretty sure that they will release the PC port in ~6 months. What are you arguing about anyway? It's totally possible that they dropped the PC SKU for the reasons mentioned. That alone doesn't mean that making PC ports is no longer financially viable, BL is pretty much an edge case anyway.

The premiere was actually pretty good, much better than I expected. I like the premise, it gives them even more freedom than the previous shows, I just hope they they will actually utilize it instead of cooking up some horribly generic bad guys and eventually making caricatures out of them. I don't know about the characters yet, they're not bad, but all the earth flashbacks were pretty painfully bad. The computer guy is way too stereotypical and the crazy black dude is weird. I love that they even dressed the Summer Glau-lookalike like River from Firefly. SG1 and Atlantis were both good because of the characters and got increasingly bad as the good ones left, I hope the characters here pan out.

And yet they do in legal text(though, apparently not in California). Arguing about it is not going to change it.

Oh wow, now you're arguing over semantics? Keep it up, it won't be long till Godwin's law comes into effect.
  10. Yeah, I totally said that. I understand that making the PC port costs more money and might not be the best idea in some cases, but looking at some big multiplatform AAA titles coming out in the near future(DA, MW2, ME2, AC2, SC:C), you'll see that most of them still have PC ports. So either all those publishers are making incredibly stupid business moves or making PC ports is still worth the money. I'm not arguing that PC games sell as well as console ones or that they don't have their own unique-ish problems associated with the platform, but I also don't see less of them this year than I did last year.
  11. Hey, if people still buy them...

She said that she wants to free everyone. Alpha sucked pretty bad in season 1. With Whedon, nothing is obvious.
  13. They usually release the PC version a couple of weeks after the console ones if they are doing it because of piracy like with Batman. If the delay is just about 6 months, it's a license thing. Anything other than that is the PC port taking longer or something completely unrelated.

She's becoming more like Alpha, remembering stuff even after being wiped, the staff didn't get it and blamed it on Topher. At least that's how I understood it.
  15. More technical problems because of different hardware configurations and piracy. Those are the ones everyone brings up, there might be more.
  16. All I can deduct with my super deductive skills is that it still pays to do that because big titles like MW2, DA, ME2, SC:C are still coming to the PC.
  17. Because we don't know exactly how much the porting costs, I guess.

This one started out slow, but got really good in the end. The Mellie stuff was pretty interesting as well. I hope we'll see some more Amy Acker soon. Here's the trailer for next week, which is supposed to be really good. BTW, thanks Rosbjerg.
  19. You got me, mkreku! Could you go troll some other threads now?
  20. ... Either back up what you're saying or stop making crap up.
  21. What the hell are you even talking about?

    Luckily there's this handy chart:
  23. Thanks for the common knowledge 101. The reason why PC games sometimes come 6 months later is quite often because of an exclusive contract with a platform holder, like what happened with Mass Effect. I'm not saying that there should be a PC version of Br
  24. PC only titles really are low budget affairs, or titles pretty certain to shift a shedload of units, ala Diablo 3. Obviously you have MMO's aswell but in the grand scheme of things, there aren't alot of PC games being released week in week out that aren't just ports from 360. Who said anything about PC-only? We are talking about Br
