  1. It's less of an anti-religion thing and more of a plot handwaving thing, kind of like BSG but less so. Yes, they tied up the characters really nicely, but all the plot and answers business went out the window as a result.
  2. I'm ignoring all the mythology stuff(because it kind of sucked), this time it really was "all about the characters" and they did that really well. It reminded me of the Angel episode where they tie up everything in one episode to get Angelus. Really loved seeing Shannon, Boone, Juliet and everyone else again. EDIT: They totally missed an opportunity to make the Island a spaceship when Desmond pulled the plug and everything started shaking...
  3. No, the pregnancy problem was there with the Dharma Initiative before Jughead was detonated and presumably from the beginning of time on the Island. I put it down to having something to do with the island itself. It can give and take life. Maybe putting the bomb so close to the electromagnetic anomaly caused the bomb's effects to resonate through the whole timestream, possibly irradiating the island from the very beginning? Oh and check out these trailers for season 1. The time when LOST was still full on endless potential and no one really knew what the hell was going on.
  4. It's certainly a possibility, but they have never actually adressed the issue directly.
  5. Well, it's Ryan Scott's personal list, obviously some of the questions are pretty trivial, but stuff like Walt, pregnancies, the sickness are pretty important. I think I linked Lostpedia's unasnwered question list a few pages ago.
  6. Yup, Nyarlathote is cool like that.
  7. Here's Ryan Scott's list of unaswered questions: (updated for What They Died For)
  8. I can't help but laugh at all the magazines and websites still scoring the sound/graphics/gameplay/whatnot seperately and basing the final score on that. If only we had movie reviews that scored the movies based on action/acting/romance/humor and so on...
  9. So it's spam AND in the wrong section? Pretty bad, man, pretty bad.
  10. From the madness that is Deadly Premonition.
  11. I wonder how well a unified Korea would have done...?
  12. Oh yeah, everyone should play Gravity Bone, it's free, only like 30 minutes long and a very interesting experience. Also it's about spy stuff, which goes pretty well with the whole AP waiting thing you have going here.
  13. Half the games I posted have threads of their own (created by me, no less). How about we stop quabbling over the details and play some awesome indie games?
  14. After that it's the Great Old Ones.
  15. Good point, but are any of them actually good?
  16. It's a game in the style of indie games or should we only list games that are technically indie games and disregard the actual content?
  17. Ana Lucia will probably take the money and escape to the Bahamas (and come back a week later because it was only 125k ) Desmond going for a second hit and run on Locke was hilarious, as was him beating up Ben(again).
  18. It's pretty much a very well polished and published indie game, an indie game at its heart, if you will. Eschalon looks interesting, but I just can't get into a game like that anymore. EDIT: I totally forgot Mount & Blade with its awesome combat system and a billion mods.
  19. Oh yeah, there will probably be quite a backlash of cancelling DVD preorders and whatnot from the inevitably disappointed fans. Good times ahead!
  20. Love the Dead to Rights: Re**** joke, he really milked it for all it's worth.
  21. Cool indie games? Gish Gratuitous Space Battles Flotilla Gravity Bone(free) Portal(free until the 24th) Audiosurf World of Goo Machinarium Osmos Retro/Grade Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Defcon Frozen Synapse(technically not out, but looks cool) That's all I can think of for now.
  22. Random idea: it would be so lame if Jack and Sawyer got into a fight over Kate and Sawyer got Smokiefied.
  23. So about the latest episode: In related news, there's an .
  24. Personally, I hope the Wheel of Time game will involve minimal shooting, I think Heretic did that pretty well already.
