  1. Well in life you definitely dont just like something because its from your country, thats not what I am saying. You like things that are successful and when they globally recognized as prestigious its even more significant. And CDPR was founded and created by Polish people within Poland So it should be okay for you to be proud of it because you Polish, thats normal I would say for most people? Thats why Obama was given a copy of Witcher 2 by the Polish PM in 2011 https://www.gamespot.com/articles/obama-mentions-the-witcher-during-trip-to-poland/1100-6420055/
  2. Typical Russian logic, faced with a highly transmissible airborne disease put everyone in the same confined space This is the " advantage " of living in a autocratic state for leadership. They dont have to worry about media or citizen backlash because you just arrest people who complain
  3. The last time I heard from him he got angry because we were talking about SJW influence in the gaming thread, I would be surprised if he left because of that minor debate?
  4. Wormie it must be nice to be Polish and have such a prestigious and famous company created by your countrymen ? Even if someone doesnt like the Witcher series, hard to believe but it has its detractors, CDPR created GOG and I dont think I have ever met anyone who doesnt like GOG? SA doesnt have any famous gaming companies, its not our strong point at all
  5. Thanks for responding, I disagree with most of what you said but I respect the art of debate and how we often have different opinions on things
  6. Here is the official CDPR strategic update
  7. Indeed, here is an infographic about this. Exciting time to be a gamer
  8. CDPR needs to commit to another trilogy of Witcher games, gaming companies should always stick to games that are guaranteed cash cows
  9. Dont mistake those Americans who are part of culture wars and groups like Qanon as representing everyone from that generation, they not. They extremists and not everyone is an extremist
  10. Thats an objective video and he explains his opinion nicely on who is responsible for the pipeline sabotage in a convincing way. He raises valid concerns that Russia will more than likely target EU infrastructure as a way to try to influence EU support for Ukraine
  11. Well the occupation and initial Russian military successes were about many towns and regions. Also I doubt there is an official Russian military communication that said " kill and torture civilians " So I thought it was more isolated and not occuring in every town?
  12. Hi Vals, welcome back. Not sure what you so surprised by the statement " Russia is losing" ....are they winning? And who do you support, Russia or Ukraine and why do you support one side over the other. Just so you aware, very few people support Putins War on this thread, the invasion of Ukraine was unprovoked and we believe Ukraine is a sovereign country that has every right to decide its own future I know you love your anti-Western sentiment and conspiracy theories but I am summarizing the general sentiment most of us believe
  13. I thought this disgusting and reprehensible behavior by the Russian military was isolated to towns like Bucha. But it now seems to be widespread and almost the norm in Russian occupied areas?
  14. Agreed, sadly you dont see many examples of autocratic or governments like Iran being overthrown or ending through citizen protests. The leadership and there militant supporters have too much to lose Especially when the hardliners in Iran will happily deploy there security forces to arrest and kill protestors
  15. But Musk is not trolling, he is sharing his opinion on a solution to end the war Its not great or convincing but its sincere and has some thought to it. Either way he is not trolling. You can disagree with him but lets criticize the suggestions rather than making it about a personal attack on him which seems to miss the point of a debate?
  16. Really interesting read and Navalny makes some convincing points about the future of Russia and its system of government. Here is the same link outside the WP https://ukrainetoday.org/2022/10/01/alexei-navalny-this-is-what-a-post-putin-russia-should-look-like/
  17. Nah, Russia isn't at war with NATO because NATO hasnt deployed NATO forces to Ukraine Until then its just some NATO countries supplying military armements to Ukraine
  18. Yes I realize it seems unrealistic now, I thinking this is achievable once Putin is gone one way or another? And I do agree with the benefits of continued Ukrainian military success, I am just thinking of finding a way to end the war and it will take compromise from both sides to achieve lasting peace Thats why Zelensky said " we believe in finding a peaceful solution but not with Putin"
  19. Why would the US need to loot and pillage oil fields in Syria when they worlds biggest producer of oil? Is this still happening in Syria and do you have any links that support this?
  20. I completed BG2 SoA and my battles with Irenicus were very memorable, the first battle with him at the Tree of Life was very tough and I died at least 5-6 times before I adopted a winning combat strategy that included Spells like Breach and Piece Magic to weaken his magic defenses Spells like Chaotic Commands and Death Ward to protect my party I used summoning spells like Mordenkainen's Sword to distract him I ran away when he used AOE spells like Ice Storm My fighters used potions like Fire Giant strength to enhance their combat effectiveness And then in Hell I initially ran away so I could focus on his summoned monsters and then I changed into the Slayer to kill him, I very seldom use the Slayer and this was only the second time in the whole SoA I used that special ability I am now playing ToB, my favorite RPG of all time, and Im in the Marching Mountains. I had some real issues initially with the first Bhaalspawn battle with Illasera, I was killed at least 5 times. I then reran the Ascension mod and removed all '' make Bhaalspawn fights harder " that include Illasera and Gromnir and the fight became reasonable and fun I think there was a bug with my Ascension mod because the Illasera battle seemed almost impossible?
  21. Thanks, thats a good definition and is similar to mine So which politicians in the US and the EU support Nazi ideology based on our definition. I know some do but I am interested in what politicians you believe support these views? And the reason I ask is because sometimes I think we conflage a certain political view with something more Nazi right-wing when in fact the politician only supports one thing but doesnt support the other Nazi views But you definitely get your real " right wing " politicians like Orban in Hungary, Im not saying he is a Nazi but he definitely has concerning right-wing views
  22. @xzar_monty https://www.benzinga.com/news/22/10/29129597/elon-musk-tells-zelenskyy-i-still-very-much-support-ukraine-but Do you guys know Musk clarified his comments, I read his 4 suggestions which are "The four points included redoing elections of annexed regions under UN supervision, and Crimea’s status as a part of Russia, and assuring water supply to the peninsula. Musk also mentioned that Ukraine remains neutral as one of his points" Personally I take the emotion out of my views on what Musk suggested and ask myself " is it practical and reasonable as a way to end the war ". Obviously the Ukrainians will ultimately decide this but some of what he mentions makes sense around compromise that include Doing proper referendums managed by the UN in Crimea and the eastern regions. Lets see what the people in these regions really want Ukraine agrees not to join NATO but it can join the EU if it meets the criteria Russia needs to Accept the outcomes of the new referendums Acknowledge Ukraine is a sovereign country and it has every right to align with the West Russia agrees to a peace treaty and obviously its army needs to leave Ukraine
  23. I think one of the reasons we disagree on certain topics is we dont have the same definitions of certain words that get used to describe political events and or societal realities And Im talking about simple things that I used to assume we all agreed on like the definition of racism, for example being concerned about illegal immigration doesnt make you racist But going back to your post, whats your definition of being Nazi?
