  1. Gorth since Sarex ignores me and you seem to understand what he means how is this " classic US tactics" ? The well known oppressive hardliners in Iran and morality police arrested a 22 women for not wearing her hijab properly. She then died in police custody due to a " heart attack " but she was obviously beaten to death, accidently, as a lesson for her failure to adhere to the " rules" Many people in Iran are tired of their repressive leadership and these types of outcomes, they are protesting because they want to see real political change How is the US responsible for this?
  2. As I said I like you so please dont get offended, I am also not going to back and post many of your posts about economic predictions you have made because I dont have the interest to spend that type of time on this debate You dont make accurate economic predictions, you make posts that are about negative market reactions that align to your ideological views. Technically its not your views, you just repeat what ZH and other anti-Western websites selectively comment on and thats fine. You are welcome to believe and support anything you want And Im sure that you will find that the likes of ZH is ultimately funded by pro-Russian or anti-Western groups which is why you constantly refer to the current economic problems as somehow being the fault of the West when in fact most of the economic problems are actually a consequence and Putins response due to necessary sanctions to the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine In other words if Russia hadnt invaded Ukraine we wouldn't be experiencing the energy crisis and impact on the EU\West financial markets which drags down much of the worlds markets. But the virus lockdowns and how they broke supply chains has contributed more towards this global inflation But end of the day energy and its impact is about supply and demand so obviously when Putin cuts back on gas to the EU of course its going to impact inflation and cost of living But Putin is only doing this because he faces sanctions but he is only facing sanctions because he invaded Ukraine. The West didnt start this, they responded to Russian militancy Unless you believe the West should have done nothing about the invasion of Ukraine and the collapse of Ukraine without Western aid on the borders of the EU?
  3. More or less the same as 2008, they will ride the storm and the markets will recover as always My UK family are more upset with things like BREXIT outstanding issues and current economic policies from Truss on the "mini-budget " but its too early to predict But your predictions have never been accurate because all you do is repeat what the ZH says? You have made numerous predictions as statements of fact and none of them have been true...these include oil price getting to $140 Gas price crashing the EU by July The collapse of the EU economy by third quarter, now you pushing it to fourth quarter The end of the $ as the worlds reserve currency because the $ has been " weaponized " The creation of a new world economic order where Russia is going to create viable institutions to the likes of the current established Western economic structures And then no one knew Truss was going to become the UK PM or what policies she was going implement or how the markets would respond with these tax cuts and the impact to the pound So all ZH makes is predictions on things that have nothing to do with Putins War, sure they get some things right. Its easy to do that when central banks raise interest rates which always have an impact on a countries economy especially while the world is battling global inflation But what you still wrong about is the West didn't goad Putin into invading Ukraine. His arrogance and belief that the West wouldn't respond effectively led to this. The economic fallout from this is on Putin And the sanctions are never going to stop until Putins War is over, the West is never going to accept the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine and this threat to the stability of the EU I like you and I enjoy your posts but I dont take your predictions seriously because they mostly ZH hyperbole and its about anti-Western sentiment
  4. Yes that can happen but thats not the intention of immigration. I have heard that argument but it doesnt really make sense
  5. I doubt it, where would all the people immigrate to when they come from failed states in those regions?
  6. Oh dont worry we will call out whataboutism when its demonstrated and it will happen again on this thread, some people cant help themselves
  7. Yes, okay now I understand. I agree, defending your home and morale are huge factors in any conflict and yes the military aid from the West also made a difference
  8. I still dont understand, what do you mean by " the same reason a lot the atrocities take place " ?
  9. Im misunderstanding some of this post, Ukraine had an election in 2019 and Zelensky won by 72% with a clear mandate to not be part of the Russian federation or Putins block of countries?
  10. All occupations are wrong, I think we can all agree on that But what Putin is doing is different. He is trying to recreate borders again without international and UN support and he is doing it through an obviously and deeply flawed " referendum " Then this will be used to legitimize the Ukrainian military advancement and success as an attack on the " sovereign " territory of Russia and then this justifies threatening to use nukes? And this is something created by him when Russia invaded in February. So this referendum should and will be heavily condemned by most and its not something only the West is saying, it creates a dangerous geopolitical reality for all of us Why should the rest of the world be threatened by the fallout of nukes in the region because of the hubris and sociopathic tendencies of Putin? The entire objective of having this referendum is because of the failures of Putins War and its military objectives. Its not the same as those other examples IMO ?
  11. I thought it's the hegemony and weaponization of the $ we want to destroy with the new Russian\Chinese led world order? Is it Pound we after now....the British have just lost the Queen and now this, tough times. I think they need to cut back on eating Sunday Roasts? What do you think Dark, Yorkshire Pudding and roast beef is expensive? ? Is it
  12. Did they also have sham referendums in the occupied territories and Tibet and then declare them part of the greater country? These are good examples you mentioned, I just need links to confirm its the same thing? I couldnt find them but I assume you have them
  13. But how would this be different to Crimea? Did anyone recognize that illegal annexing, it still didn't stop Putin ?
  14. Well Im surprised you dont know why it may not he true? Its because Serbia is generally pro-Putin and often Serbs defend Russia and the atrocities they have committed within Ukraine
  15. https://rs.n1info.com/english/news/serbias-fm-we-can-not-accept-results-of-referendums-in-ukraine/ Serbia wont accept the sham Ukrainian referendums @Sarex Im impressed, your country is moving in the right direction
  16. I dont replay games generally, I played BG2 only once before 12 years ago or so, or become deeply engrossed in rulesets. So your advice is prudent and makes sense but I am happy with my party choices and class choices I also dont like dual class, I prefer one class and I focus on that even though dual class has its clear advantages And then I must clarify, my 3 rule list of party choice is significance but they all part of my decision around who I select So for example I selected Viconia not just for her healing abilities but because of the Romance and overall RP contribution she provides. There are better healers Im sure but she would always be my first choice The narrative and how it unfolds based on my choices is a huge part of the significance and importance of why I play RPG and in party based RPG the selection of party members influences this overall journey and fun factor
  17. Make sure you use Mods and dont forget the BG2 Romance mod, ignore the haters. I know you believe in love
  18. Absolutely, Imoen plays different roles nicely but in my current party her skills are duplicated. Im a wizard and the main magic user and then Vienxay, a mod NPC, is a shadowmage with both thief and magic skills. I try to ensure duplication of most skills and combat roles so they can utilized effectively in different places. My party is Tanks\Fighters: Minsc and Korgan Combat Magic User : Me, Vienxay and Viconia Thief : Vienxay Healing: Viconia Archery\Ranged Combat : Vienxay, Minsc, Valygar, Viconia Second level Fighters: Valygar, Viconia ( with Champions strength she is very effective )
  19. Keep safe Katphood and I hope you achieve the political change you want Keep us updated, we will be following developments
  20. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/09/22/europe/russia-protests-partial-mobilization-ukraine-intl-hnk/index.html Only in Russia would you find this, some of the anti-war protestors arrested are being not being jailed but are being immediately drafted into the army as punishment and will be going to Ukraine A great way to build morale
  21. Its exactly that reason, my party is full. I like Imoen but her skills are duplicated And Wormie, you remember my code about how I select party members. In order of importance combat and general skills NPC side quests and dialogue Romance Now Imoen is cute and not unattractive but she is my half-sister so Romance is out. And this is not Greek mythology where incest is normal so I cant motivate her in my party But I may change my mind once I leave Spellhold? I need to think about it more " Copper Inn must be at least somewhat more comfortable than Spellhold " very true
  22. I am in Spellhold and I decided not to take Imoen with me after freeing her, she doesnt offer the same combat and quest skills as my current party members. She will wait at the Copper Inn for later Does this make me a bad person because I feel guilty for some reason?
