-Increases walking speed- Look, I am really sorry, but I don't have any change, okay? Okay that undoubtedly gets the much coveted " BruceVC funniest post of the Week" award

How do you meet people? That's actually an excellent point, at times I always seem to miss the most relevant question

Exactly and you guys like to put your fingers in dykes for fun to stop water flooding your flat land right ? I thought that was Denmark. Maybe Denmark as well but I don't think so...does Denmark have dykes? http://www.pantheon.org/articles/l/little_dutch_boy.html

Short article but very interesting and relevant, I can't wait to develop more meaningful and complex relationships in an RPG ....but I wonder what that means from a practical gaming point of view?

I suppose the best reason for talking to strangers is the different and interesting responses you can get, you can learn new things about people that way. I think it really depends whether people are used to it. In some countries, people are a little more reserved. I remember going backpacking through England and Scotland with my brother when I was a teenager, and the completely new experience of sitting at random people's tables and having a chat with them. I am pretty sure if I tried that back home people would stare me away from their table with an evil gaze of death. We had some funny conversations. In Dover, some old geezers who were constantly sniffing tobacco made us a proposition for us to be their drug mules (because, everyone knows us Dutchies do nothing else but drugs all day). We met some Glaswegian girls, one of which was completely convinced that she had an internet relationship with an actor who had played in "Children of the Corn". This was in the early days of the internet, we didn't even have an email address yet, but we were pretty sure she was being duped - but try telling that to a starry-eyed teenager. And I remember this one girl in Glasgow who upon hearing that we had planned to go north loudly said, in thick Glaswegian accent, that up north they were nothing but a "bunch 'o sheep shaggers!" We couldn't stop laughing, the way she said it. I am not sure whether it was that people are more accepting towards such things at the other side of the sea, or whether it was because people open up more to a bunch of hippie backpacking tourists, but it was a great experience. That being said, when some stranger approaches me, my first thought is always a suspicious "I wonder what they want from me?" But Wolfmeister you speak to me? We don't know each other...and we always have a good laugh don't we?

There are 12 straight options, 30 gay guys for buggering, 41 lesbians, 57 transsexuals, 1 table and we're still not sure if the sheep from Arcanum is gonna make it to the party or not. Wow you talk about hyperbole. Do you have an issue with Romance options for gay fans of the game? You seem to be making a big about the fact that Bioware takes the issue of Romance inclusivity seriously?
-
Funny thing is I am really excited about this game, in fact probably more than PoE and the main reason being due to the deep party interaction that will come with the Romance options that will be in DA:I

Well you are weird then. People do what they want usually because they want to, not exactly into telling people how they should do things nor am I particularly tolerant of people doing that to me even over something as mundane as what I use to sweeten my coffee. Nor am I really that interested in random strangers attempting to talk to me, too much worry about being robbed or distracted enough for that, begged for money, trying to be sold something or having some nutcase engage me. Did at least stare at him until he walked away though, so I guess it was amusing really. So you are honestly going to tell me you never speak to strangers? I find that hard to believe...what about if you are at a bar waiting to get served a drink? I know you don't drink alcohol but I'm sure you have ordered drinks before ?

Malc, this post highlights just how different you and I are ( which we already know ) I also do what that guy did, you do it because you are trying to give someone good advice. But it can be misunderstood and seen in a negative light....like when you said he was weird for suggesting you use honey. It reminds me of that joke where I ask a stranger to pay for my groceries in a supermarket line I would be fine with a friend saying something like that, but from a stranger... Well, I would think he should mind his own business. It sort of comes across as... "Hi, I don't know you, but I'd like to tell you what to do..." Valid consideration Wolfmeister, there is an art to giving advice or chatting to strangers. I have learnt through trial and error what works and the best way to get your advice seen in a positive light...but sometimes you can't help being misunderstood

Yes the coffee price was set to go up because of the bad rain in Brazil effecting the coffee crops . That guy is right by the way, honey is better for you..but I suppose you are already so sweet you don't need to become sweeter

Nice, so you get to eat Old Amsterdam cheese all day and smoke weed...what a life

Now I'm kind of curious about what type of paralysis was and whether there were any of the chemicals in the card responsible for curing it. We not sure but once the members of the religious group attempted to walk on water we strongly suspect LSD was involved

Hassat where do you live?

Please Bruce, you have to do it. I too want to see the adventures of a politically-correct Kommissar love-machine, defeating evil in Ferelden via an unlikely combination of authoritarian terror and lurve. "authoritarian terror and lurve"....that's very good Monte When you say it like that its hilarious. Its not how I see myself but I can see some similarities around my perspective on topics

I don't see how this is not relevant (though the respective merits of the services are, of course, not relevant to the subject at hand). EA is trying to force people towards Origin, it's that simple. Mass Effect 3 and Dead Space 3 are not available through Steam either (or any other means besides Origin, afaik. Even the disc version of ME3 *requires* Origin, which really pissed me off btw). I find this trend of (single player*) games being tied to some digital platform disturbing, even more so if they're tied to a very specific digital platform (fwiw, Skyrim being tied to Steam *really* pissed me off as well, especially since I bought the disc version just to avoid Steam) * Yes, yes, I'm aware of ME3's multiplayer and it is my personal opinion that they ought to have used the money they wasted on that crap on creating a decent single player experience instead. Shame poor you, don't you get Steam or Origin in your country? Is that why you don't like them? I'll make videos of me playing DA:I and I'll share them with you, that will be almost as much fun as you playing the game itself Getting trolled for stating facts, not something I'd expected from you, Bruce You ruined my faith in humanity, now I'll go back to my corner and cry No I wasn't trolling, just teasing you

A religious extremist is just someone who has an extreme interpretation of religious doctrine and acts on it. You don't need to blow-up planes to be considered an extremist
-
Guys does anyone have any feedback on the game War of the Vikings? I am surprised with all our friendly and active Scandinavian members we don't have more support for this type of game?
-
It never ceases to amazes me how blinded and ignorant religious extremists can be, and yet they think they can see the truth
