No one complained about " white, male privlidege " back then....everyone was happy and we know this is true because the level of civil disobedience was almost non-existent

Its an important question and very relevant, what do we expect from our politicians? And my view on this is absolutely what I believe and Im not being sarcastic or joking All our countries are Constitutional Democracies and through the election process citizens elect political parties to deliver on the policies and views they say they stand for So I expect politicians to deliver on what their mandate is and to ensure the citizens of the country are safe and they have a sustainable future All politicians must be accountable to the laws of the land and the Constitution. They are not above the citizens and I dont consider them our " leaders " but merely representatives of the country when they in power But the greater power\leader is the Constitution and nothing can go against that, yes you can make legitimate changes to a Constitution but our politicians are bound by that

Im also not a big game park person but many of my family love game drives ....they go on 2x3 hour drives each day when they stay in the bush !!! I am interested in how the local media within your country discusses it I dont believe in conspiracy theories or generalizations that become the truth. But I can comment exactly on how the SA media is covering this compared to the shooting in Buffalo the week before So the Buffalo shooting was raised as " white racist kills black people in another shooting " or something very similar But this Texas shooting has been described as " another mass shooting in US school, pupils are killed "....or something similar But the race wasnt brought up either about the shooter or the victims. I would have expected consistency and the media to frame it as " Hispanic shooter kills white and Hispanic pupils in shooting " So how has your local media framed this Texas shooting and why does race get brought up in one mass shooting and not another?
