  1. Volourn. I just logged in to tell you to stop being such a ****ing ****.
  2. MSN's video player is honestly the worst one I've ever seen.
  3. Do I hear "ME2" here? What do you think of that game game? And if you like it, why do you like it THERE. ME1 had wide planet exploration with the MAKO, and apparently people (not me) hated that, so it got "fine-tuned" into corridor shooting, and everyone praises the crap out of it now. I don't like ME2.

  5. I think that part right there tells you that you were expecting the wrong thing from AP. Deus Ex is even worse as 'a shooter experience' yet look at how well the game was received by critics/fans and how well it is remembered today. "Deus Ex (abbreviated DX[2] and pronounced /ˌdeɪ.əs ˈɛks/, DAY-əs-eks) is a cyberpunk-themed action role-playing game developed by Ion Storm Inc. and published by Eidos Interactive in 2000" The main reason this game isn't that great, imo, is because of the way missions work. There are NO sidequests, and most of the game takes place running down linear corridors. Does that matter? There are many gameplay elements that didn't really evolve since that time. ESPECIALLY in rpgs. I don't really see the significance. I'd say shooting mechanics have evolved since 2000.

  7. Damn it, why did you have to catch that? I need more willpower.
  8. Why can't Obsidian release ONE game that doesn't have bugs out the ass? 1. Obsidian games have a lot more content than your average game. More content means a lot more testing is required. 2. Bethesda has been working with New Vegas' engine for the past 10 years, and all their games using said engine had bugs out the ass. What makes you think Obsidian would improve upon that record? 1. Agreed, but that doesn't mean BUGS OUT THE ASS. 2. Fallout 3 had it's fair share of bugs, and I didn't expect much improvement, I just didn't expect things to get WORSE. Why the language edit if there's a censor in place? I know I'm overreacting, but I don't trust Obsidian anymore. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised. On the plus side the video has excellent voice acting, and the quest structure is very nice. Complaints about the framerate in previews, the E3 preview where he couldn't get his weapons back(definitely fixed), and the fact that there are 3 bugs in this video.

  10. Didn't scare me. Made me extremely tense, but it didn't scare me. I'd say it's a 7/10 merely because it didn't scare me, but it scared everyone else. I'd suggest a buy because it's only $20 and Frictional Games is struggling, and it's a fun game.
  11. trust me, its not very exciting in real life. unless you mean you are a lawyer who must do non-lawyerly things, but if you're talking waking up and going to work and drafting legal documents and handling phone calls from cranky clients and opposing counsel who are acting like jerks then forget it, I get enough of that already. I could see a game like heavy rain working though, basically if Michael Clayton was an adventure game or something. I was thinking more along the lines of courtroom persuasion/moral choices.
  12. An RPG where you're a lawyer would be pretty cool.
  13. You said absolutely nothing with this post. Just "No you're wrong, oh and you're a baby." No points. At all.
  14. "LOLOLOLOLOLOL I NO U R BUT WAT AM I LOLOLOLOL" This board is pathetic. That's the best you guys can come up with? You guys are comparing one of the best games ever made to one of the worst. In my analogy AP is to Big Rigs and VTMB is to VTMB. AP is overrated boring ****ing ****. Seriously. There is almost absolutely nothing reedeming about it. Gameplay? ****. Story? Stereotypical. Characters? Not interesting and stereotypical. Oh, but it has some C&C every once in a while. Totally a flawed gem. Stop sucking Obsidian's ****, they need to learn from their mistakes. I like Obsidian, I really do. But AP was ****. Yeah, it's pretty clear that implying we're sucking Obsidian **** is superior reasoning than us calling you out on the obvious flaws of your reasoning. I won't even comment on the stereotypical story and charachters because that implies two other things: 1. You didn't get the main theme that is behind the game. 2. You have no idea about human behavior (living in your mom's basement does that to you). Every charachter in AP was well fleshed out and followed a major theme of human behavior (or much like point 1 was based on popular spy fiction). The dialog played with it quite a bit. Though on the downside there wasn't that much interaction with them. Especially Darcy,n Westridge and Sis (In the case of Sis because the idea behind here was so awesome and would have been even better fleshed out) But hey, why do I explain that to you? Oh yeah, that's right. I believe I got the main theme, an evil corporation is cooperating with an evil government organization. Wow, so hard to figure out. And that is TOTALLY original, right? Also the whole: "Well that's typical for spy fiction" is a copout. Having black/white morality being typical to the Star Wars series didn't stop Obsidian from making a bad-ass morally gray Star Wars game before. LOLOLOLOL I LIVE IN MY MOM'S BASEMENT LOLOLOLOL SO FUNNY SO ORIGINAL. "Every charachter in AP was well fleshed out and followed a major theme of human behavior" You contradict yourself, every character doesn't include : "Especially Darcy,n Westridge and Sis (In the case of Sis because the idea behind here was so awesome and would have been even better fleshed out)" ? Also, they follow a theme of human behavior? You give AP WAY too much credit. I take back my previous statement about it having all **** characters. A lot of them were ****, but Marburg, Parker, Sis, and Albatross weren't.
  15. Looks that way. He even got a little help from the "XD" smiley at the end of the sentence. Poe's Law. "Poe's Law points out that it is hard to tell parodies of fundamentalism (or, more generally, any crackpot theory) from the real thing, since they both seem equally insane."

  17. Yeah, yeah. Totally comparable. It's totally the same. Comparing two flawed games and calling a game the best game ever. It's uncanny. I think this discussion is at a dead end, people. Okay? Here let me fix it: I think Big Rigs is an absolute flawed gem, with the likes of VTMB. Just IMHO. Once again: Just because it's an opinion doesn't mean it isn't retarded.
  18. I've played both and think so. Any more lies you wish to spread. Any more "facts"? No, HH Don't you know that he is the almighty who's glorius opinion is the only "truth" there is in the world. BLASPHEMY IMO Big Rigs is the best game ever, IMHO. Just because it's an opinion doesn't mean it isn't retarded.
  19. So, you're argument to ban others for comparing games is basically that it doesn't vibe with your own personal opinion score? Yeah, yeah.... That makes sense. As opposed to a reviewer's personal opinion score? HERPITY DERP! My point: VTMB = Good game AP != Good game. Stop saying they're equal, anyone who's played both knows they're not.
  20. Videos on megaupload: ...or not
  21. Well, AP bombed too. So, not that good an argument. Also I just looked up the V:B scores. He pulled that out of a random review probably. Metacritic has it only at 80 and that's probably including favorable retro-reviews. (That doesn't mean of course that V:B wasn't deserving of a near 90s score in several aspects.) Those were my personal scores. I could care less what review sites said.
  22. Please don't compare AP to VTMB. Ever. VTMB: 9/10 AP: 6.5/10 Stop it.
