There are some reports that Douchebag begins flickering in and out in some cutscenes. I've heard about unplanned parenthood and at the ending.
Bot players seem to have played for a long while at that point.
They did.
That's the only constantly reported bug (Aside from a bit of stuttering on consoles). There's other specific case problems here and there, but nothing too bad. It's just a shame the issue appears/appeared at the beginning if the game.
Also Dungeon Siege 3 was polished before this. In terms of buginess, its a little more buggy than DS3 and a lot less than all of their other games, and a lot of other rpgs really.
Not my issue, but it was brought up by a user on another forum
I am having technical difficulties. I am getting an "app already running" error when I start. I deleted local content and I am installing from steam instead of the disk. I suspect the disk install is the problem.
Did not fix the issue.
As a temporary fix
Download Cheat Engine, start south park, alt tab out, open cheat engine, select the south park process, activate speedhack, lower the games speed, go back in the game, it should work now.
Sprite-based a la the Infinity Engine games, (or, in other words, there's only so many frames per animation, so by increasing the FPS, you increase the game speed)?
Has to do with how animations work. One of the first videos of the game was about it.
Could you link to it, since I'm curious? I must confess to not liking South Park, but I'm interested in that particular facet if they explain it.
Sadly that is a bug many encounter. IMO, it's so obvious and *seems* to be restricted to the DD versions that it's probably a mistake that happened before submitting build.
You can just reload and try again to pass it. Will probably get fixed very soon.
I want to personally repeat this
The Keyboard QTE's especially were designed by Satan. I mean they aren't just difficult, some of them (including the farting tutorials) are nigh impossible.
+1
I mean I like the instances in this game where qte's are used well. But, then there are other button mashing segments that were ****ed up by some evil Matt MacLean Maniac.
I've already posted a suggestion in the general patch suggestion thread. Hopefully the devs will look at the complaints.
