  1. Thanks for the clarification. If i understand from that table, basic scale armor dr is 7, pierce is 5, so 75% of basic DR. So in case of Hirbel, indeed (7base+2fine+3proofed)*0.75=9. A coincidence that made me think proofed bonus was not applied compared to armor DR shown (9) But, does that mean basic Hirbel pierce stat is 7? Then this is the same as armor base DR. In this case why 75%? 75% would work for a basic scale armor : 7 base DR, 5 pierce DR, or any enchanted version of it (fine scale armor...) When i hover a fine scale armor (basically same as Hirbel's skin exept proofed pierce DR), pierce DR is 7 (5basic+2fine), when base Dr is 9 (7+2) When i hover Hirbel's, pierce DR isnt shown unlike slash/freeze DR, so i suppose it is same as armor DR (7 base + 2 fine). In this case the 0.75% dont work for Hirbel's Skin (7base DR+2, 7 pierce DR+2 - 0%), unless the % is applied from the calculation for the basic scale armor (7/5 0.75%) and also used for all other armor of this type (Hirbel's being a scale armor too) I sent you a pm with the link.   2. Hello, All is in the title This missing stat has been overlooked (and reported) since a few months now, despite the armor having Pierce-proofed attribute. To compare, a fine standart Scale armor has 7 pierce DR when Hirbel Protective Skin has not the proofed bonus applied. I am quoting an older post : http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/76100-bug-hirbels-protective-skin-missing-pierce-damage-dt-endless-path-lvl6-when-equiped-or-swapped-with-other-armor/?hl=hirbel answers : - no other pierce DR bonus item equiped - no pierce DR bonus applied at all in the combat log if i try with Hirbel's Protective Skin. The DR is at 9 when i hover a pierce type attack in combat log, so it is the armor basic DR without the Pierce proofed attribute - if i wear a fine standart Scale armor to compare, pierce DT which is supposed to be 7, is in fact 6.8 in the combat log - even if Hirbel's pierce DT resistance should be 7 if i compare with a fine scale armor, it would be 10 with the proofed attribute, which it is not. Or (in theory) 6.8/9.8 if i refer to combat log for a fine scale armor, +3 DR with proofed, as a comparison.
  3. In my game post 1.03, companions like Hiravias and Pallagina when hired had their base DT at -2, with malus to pierce, slash (and freeze or fire iirc, around -2 -3 each). This lasted as long as i didnt reload my game.
  4. I confirm this, Would be great if corrected for next patch got some named weapon i cant replace some enchantments because of same problem as above.
  5. This scale armor is obviously missing the pierce damage DT, when you swap it with another armor, it has none. When you wear it directly, the pierce resistance is not applied also. Bug solving : You have to equip it once, then unequip it without releasing it (keep it drag), and put it back in the armor slot, only after this the pierce damage DT applies. BUT As soon as you close inventory screen, you loose the piercing resistance. Obviously bugged
  6. I add my 2 cents in this post, with the duration of the spiritshift form. Right now Druid = random kamikaze since we dont know what the counter is and the form can just deactivate in the middle of ennemies (which means death because of de-engagement rules) Why making this form with a timer? Rather make modal as it is shown in spiritshft description. This makes the druid completely useless in melee after a few seconds, at the risk of dying because after the spiritshift form is gone you can mostly only rely on your spells to fight and survive. I really like to play a druid, but it is currently unbalanced right now.
  7. Hello, Seems that the damage bonus from Wildstrike talent (at least Fire for Wildstrike Fire), is not working at all. It is supposed to add 30% of the damage with Fire, but according to combat log i only see piercing damage while in my spiritshift wolf form. Is it normal or i am missing something? edit : i am playing with the lastest updte as of 04/04/15 edit2 : disregard this post. When checking in detail for the damage done, it is shown that the burn damage is applied.
  8. Hello, Actually knockdown for druid wolf is recharged per rest. Is it supposed to be like this? Just wondering because of other spiritshifts. Per encounter would be better in my opinion, and would make the wolf spiritshift less useless.

If the spell is something that replaces their weapon with a magical summoned one like the wizard's corroding staff, I believe they've said there'll be a fix in the first patch that also fixes saved games. It is more complex than just that (though its basically the problem). The spell replace the weapon, and any weapons in the weapon set is removed from game, and you cant equip any ofhand weapon anymore or shield, if you recast Firebrand, which "partially fix" the problem.
  10. edit (cant edit old post) seems it is not just shield but all off hand weapon that cant be equiped anymore with the Firebrand bug.

  12. Hello, Saving right after a combat while Firebrand effects are still on = game breaker when you need to reload that save. When reloading the timer is going down to 0s but the Firebrand weapon is still in the weapon slot. You cannot swap any weapon with it. If you fight,you actually fight with your fists only, but the Firebrand icon is still there. This is obviously linked to the "reload a save while active effect was on" bug, but it leads to another bug : If you recast Firebrand, this time the icon vanish after the spell timer. BUT You loose whatever equipment was in the weapon slot before you casted Firebrand. AND If you put a new weapon in that weapon slot, and if you happen to have a 1H weapon plus shield before, you can only put a 1H weapon, but no shield anymore. As soon as you try to put a shield, it instead put nothing, and the first weapon from your weapon stash is "removed" instead (the shield you are draguing transform into the 1st weapon of the stash, and each time you try putting the shield, another weapon will be selected - the 2nd one in the stash, the 3rd and so on) Quite a game breaker when you cant equip anymore your weapon set and have no recent save exept that bugged one ! I can provide the save if needed.

Hello, The racial bonus for pale elf (10 resist in burn and freeze) simply vanish if you swap an armor in your inventory with another one by double clicking on it directly (i tried with hide armor, leather armor you get at the encampent from a dead body, and calisca's scale armor). If you remove the armor first before wearing another armor the bug dont happen.

  16. This is great news because Paradox has a long time experience with PC AND also have their own internal studio making awsome strategies games for a niche genre today. As for the DLC i can not aggree with some people before. The DLC model for Crusader kings 2 or the latest Europa universalis wasnt preventing you from getting full advantage of the game. If you did not buy the DLC you still had some features from them coming freely with each patch. The best exemple is the next big DLC for Crusader Kings 2 which will also expand the game map featuring india and ural steppes for those that wont buy this dlc. What do you expect from a studio, to make free games? When they have a good franchise, and when they can expand on it with new features and ideas, its a lot of work behind, and it is worth those DLC price. Also Paradox are known to be very good listeners of their community, each game from them is a true improvement on the previous ones. I do agree that the cosmetic DLC graphic/music packs are pricey compared to the added value in game, but i dont care since you dont need them to enjoy the game and i get them all just to support this company. So the DLC model of paradox is fine for me and dont worry me at all, since i know that when they make a major DLC, even if you dont want to get it it also mean major improvement for the game that will come for free with the DLC release. On a side note about steam, recently i was also a bit surprised they discontinue support of Crusader kings 2 on digital distribution sites like Gamersgate, focusing only on Steam, but they explained why on their forum and it makes perfect sense. This steam bashing which is almost 10 years old, is indeed very old was a steam basher when steam launched, now i changed my mind ps : forgive my english

  18. A quick question about paypal donation and Kickstarter. I made a 250 pledge on KS, forget the int shipping (and a bonus i wanted) so i made 2 donations on paypal for that (the 30$ int shipment fee and another for the Soundtrack). Will they manage to group all donations? Should i mail them for that to explain? Or Should i just wait for the sheet they will send when game is ready to explain why i mess it up

It wasnt meant to discuss about the game but to dierct ppl to the crowdfounding campaign Plus a thread with Squadron 42 as title simply dont add any attraction, compared to a Chris Roberts name in a thread title.
  21. Its no console game, its for die hard fans so PC only for now I guess you havent check the video, or dont know about Wing Ccommander WC is space combat ! but feels like a simulation (joystick and so on). Unless you meant by space combat all those RTS games we have around?

Now that the KS campaign for Eternity is over, i feel its time to back a little Chris Roberts's new project : Star Citizen. http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/ For those who dont know the guy, he is a legendary game designer, maker of the Wing Commander saga, Freelancer, Starlancer and Strike Commander among other hits. His new project Star Citizen is a space sim fan dream come true. I simply urge you to visit his website and look at the few videos, you'll see what i mean. It will be a Freelancer/WC like game with elements of strategy like EvE Online and economy like in the X series, and the coolest thing with the ability to man a ship with your friends (turrets, pilot and so on). He chose to host his crowdfounding on his own website, hope this isnt a mistake and he will still receive the advertise he deserve. Go visit this project
