  1. Sadly, Dragon Age II is the first Bioware game I'll not be buying. I just have no interest in it at all, other than finally seeing a LP thread of it on the codex.
  2. Risen was a truck load of pure awesome (Except the last chapter). I'll just forget that ever happened. I am SO looking forward to this. Will be pre-ordering this immediately as soon as I can.
  3. I once had a reason to live again. It is now gone....
  4. Finally playing The Silver Lining's KQ fan made project. Holy wow. For a FREE fan made game (now up to episode 3) it really really well done. I am honestly amazed at how good it is so far. It is very faithful (so far) to all the in game lore and setting. I'd dare say (graphics and VO aside) it is FAR better than anything Telltale has done (so far). It's like a project that was made from pure love. Much like the incredible Ultima V: Lazarus fan made project. Granted I'm only on Chapter 2, but it has been a wonderful romp so far.
  5. I have both an Xbox360 and PS3 so I'm ok with that, though is this a sudden shift (or an interest) into breaking into the "casual" game market? Not sure how I feel about that....
  6. You do know that DirectX 11 was not implemented in the Demo (even though you can select it). There was a post about that from the devs on the bio forums.
  7. It's ok sweetie. I know how you feel. :hugs:
  8. Could we not have a thread about this game. All it does is make me cry and cry and cry and be very very mad at SEGA for canceling it.
  9. A little more than 100 employees, but they're usually split on a lot of projects at the same time. Really, I don't think there are complicated explanations, it's just that Obsidian is not good at scope managing. Bug fixing is the responsibility of the publisher.
  10. I think Bethy are doing F4. Wouldn't mind though if Bethy publishes another (original) Obsidian game. Well if Bethesda do a Fallout 4 I'll pass on it then. Hopefully they will then shortly after allow Obsidian to then do a proper Fallout 4 after it. Fallout: New Seattle would be awesome.
  11. I just finished NV. Now I have to play it again to see a different ending. Thank you Obsidian. Best damn $49.99 I have spent in years.
  12. Hopefully these sales numbers will convince Bethesda that Obsidian should do the next Fallout game. Now I just pray the DLC's are going to be done by Obsidian. Otherwise I will not be getting them.
  13. Dreamfall is an absolute abomination. It makes me so angry when they ruined the series to put it on consoles. I will never forgive them for that. NEVAR!
  14. Can you clarify this a bit further? Are you sure it is broken or perhaps it's more of a faction alignment mechanic.
  15. I just finished Lost Horizon, it was a lot of fun. Nazi's and ancient Buddhist temples! <3 It was enjoyable and worth the 17$ as it is now on Steam. Curiosity got the better of me and am going to try Secret Files: Tunguska... Which I heard was terrible, but I guess I'll find out shortly when it finishes d/l on Steam.
  16. I don't care for TUTU or BGT as well and love my vanilla 640 x 480 BG1 as well. <3
  17. That was quite awesome actually.
  18. Knowing Atari/Cryptic on their past games... this could possibly be an interesting MMOG.... in about 5 years from release... sadly.
  19. Ever since Ultima VII - The Black Gate came out I desperately wanted to get a Roland MT-32 Multi-Timbre Sound Module as the game music and sound effects were specifically designed for it... but sadly I could never ever afford one back in the day. While for years I monitored various online classified ads as well as EBay, but people just wanted too damn much money for them. However last week, I finally found one from a local craigslist ad and got a used one (in great condition) for 25$!! So for now I have been playing (and just finished) The Black Gate, enjoying it in all it's full MT-32 musical goodness (using DOSBox) and now onto The Serpent Isle! And yes I am aware of Exult But I just once wanted to go through the original, even with all it's terrible plot stopping bugs, and tons of other bugs (Exult fixes all known bugs thankfully). The Black Gate was an amusing and fun run, but dear gawd, never again (in DOSBox).
  20. What the problem is most people take Mass Effect's story/plot as SERIOUS BUSINESS, and it is not supposed to be. It's supposed to be more like a B rated Sci Fi space opera, which I feel it pulls off quite well. And the characters in ME2 were utterly fantastic and well written.
  21. Curious what your thoughts on that were. It seemed to get quite a bad rap from most Adventure Game sites. I liked it. It tries a bit hard to be like Broken Sword: Shadows of the Templars, but the story, characters, voice acting & dialogue aren't that good and are overall a mixed bag. The puzzles are quite comparable, very McGuyverish. It's a solid 7/10. The sequel apparently is much better. ok interesting. Thanks!
  22. That will work just fine. Thank you! While your talents in MS Paint are.... incredible (to say the least) mkreku, I at least thank you for your effort.
  23. Add the Fallout: New Vegas logo to the pic below? I'd ask Hellkitty bu wasn't sure if he has been around lately. Thanks!
  24. Curious what your thoughts on that were. It seemed to get quite a bad rap from most Adventure Game sites.
