  1. Ah I've heard a bunch of people over the place who were still doing the "where was the Reaper connection beyond the stupid , just thought it was worth pointing out that they included that as an extra clue-stick for those that needed it.
  2. It's one of the wonders of sci-fi series, you never know what tech is available to some uber-powerful advanced culture... Or it's a cheap throwaway deus ex machina to set up some hints for ME3.... Oh, and how many people noticed that if you select the Continue Playing option after the suicide mission, there's a new Codex entry that more explains Harbringer ?
  3. It's not explained per se, but there's mention of the Reapers using Dark Energy... and then there's Tali's recruitment mission where so really it's more of a .. heavy hint then any actual say-so.
  4. Some planets do give the "anomaly detected" which means there's some form of mission. You still have to scan a bit, although you get a white line pointing in the direction you have to go. Then you drop a probe on it, and you get a "Land on Planet" tab appear. Usually it's a short 10-20 minute thing. But I think they're all fairly.. unique-ish, rather then the cookie-cutter missions you found on ME1 planets. And at present, I don't think there's that many of them. Probably part of the whole leaving room for the "future dlc" and "hammerhead" that's upcoming in the near future (supposedly).
  5. Well I can confirm that happens. Imported a level 60 character, and hit level 30 in ME2 during the
  6. Asari don't actually borrow genetic material from the "father/mother" they meld with. Just some sort of weird, semi-telapathic / neural imprint. Off-hand, isn't the bartender on Illium non-blue? It might just be one of those odd skin coloration things that's natural variance to the Asari race.. And this time, they even do have a "green-skinned alien girl" to follow the true trope
  7. Not properly. Male Shep can hit on her, but she does the whole
  8. And if you go with I'm not really sure of the sense of doing that... Oh, but Edit: Oh, and of course the art concepts for Samara "we wanted something feminine to suggest 'Mystical Warrior' " - For yes, nothing says Mystical Warrior quite like epic cleavage....
  9. I'm half surprised you didn't mention the possibilities of the G/F in the maids costume Jaguar.. That's what the expansion pack is for. Opening up DLC in a whole new way?
  10. I'm half surprised you didn't mention the possibilities of the G/F in the maids costume Jaguar..
  11. I have to say, there's something about Cerberus going from a black ops unit gone rogue that no-one really knows about.. to being some intergalactically known terrorist group that wear uniforms, where they all wear emblems everybody recognises as Cerberus, oh, and they register their super-secret ship so even the Quarrians know it's built by them... Although, the whole dialogue run of Miranda explaining that there are seperate divisions of Ceberus, military, political, science, and that all of Shep's encounters in ME1 were a semi-rogue bunch of the Military division....
  12. Upgrade the ship There are specific "instant deaths" for each ship upgrade not done. o O (hmm, hope that doesn't count as a spoiler) Oh, and do the loyalty missions for each squad member of course I'm not sure if squad gear/weapon upgrades actually change survivability or not...
  13. The first time I ran through that end sequence.. Tried it a second time,
  14. Heh, and I managed to miss Legion doing
  15. Personally, I found evolved Shockwave into Heavy Shockwave rather entertaining to use on groups of husks.. they'd rush at you forming a line naturally.. blast them with shockwave..they fly into the air and always landed with a really fun crunchy sound splattering into bits..
  16. You can also get any of the bonus skills during the game through the research console. And you can get all of them together. Yes, but you have to do the research and pay the element zero in-game. I was meaning that they've also set it up like the bonus skill you could unlock in the first game.
  17. Hm, and I'd have felt more oomph about being interested in the Achievements if they actually gave in-game benefits again.. Although I think if you get the loyalty achievements it opens up the "bonus skills" and you get to choose one from the beginning of any new game.
  18. Nothing is as good as the original Shepard as Miranda explained. But think how many clones/robots you could get for all the money he spent on Shepard! And I'm not really seeing the "Shepard as a symbol" thing. Yeah, but he's meant to be a symbol to the Humans.. and you don't really encounter that many "average citizen human"
  19. Yeah, he couldn't even pay for the needed resources so I had to scan all those xxxx planets.. Well he had already spent over 4 Billion on Shep.. and thats not including what he spent on building the new Normandy... Maybe he's now on short cash reserves for the moment..

Given any Modesitt sci-fi a try yet?
  21. That and when you get about 1 recruitment mission into the game.. you've got access to better research that makes the N7 armor work better then the dlc. So it's not like you'll want to wear the other stuff for more then the first mission.
  22. There were a fair few nice visuals, and the score was damn good. Sure, some of the storyline was some ripped and streamlined from myths.. but hell, how many rpgs haven't been ripped and streamlined from myths from somewhere? Sure it was surprisingly short, and there were flaws in the combat. But it was playable, it had some interesting moments. And the main bad guy did have a fair chunk of magnificent bastard about him.
  23. Just keep playing. Not possible to miss it. Don't bet on it. Your talking to the guy who went 20 hours before realizing the Normandy had an observation deck. Unlike all the other recruitment missions, it's impossible not to do the one where Legion turns up. It's storyline specific if you want to actually move forward in the game.
  24. The one trouble I see... is that I'm now tempted to replay ME1 specifically to try to see what different combintions will result in changes to ME2 when I replay that... dang it. I foresee much of a social life disapearing over the near future... Although what are the odds someones going to figure out an editor to ME save files to handle that at some point in the next couple of months..
  25. Ninja Assassin - so so. The shaky cam was annoying during the action sequences.. especially with the amount of shadows and light flashing off weapons.. But some impressive blood spurts and amusing de-limbing.
