  1. Quite often copy the links. They used to last and then I noted the last month it suddenly seems to keep stopping after a few days. Since the forum's have been behaving a little odd of late I wasn't sure if it was just one of those quirks for my viewing or something else.
  2. Hm, is it just my browser or do most of my amusing links of late suddenly stop working about 2-3 days after I post them?
  3. Variety - Roger Corman dead, Pionering independent producer and king of B-Movies
  4. Realised Hackers was now free on Prime, and idle watched it for the nostalgia hit. That sweet joy of mid 90's view of techno fashion and concepts of the hacking culture and the before-internet Plus Angelina Jolie and Johnny Lee Miller looking so damn young.
  5. The lore tends to be a mix of contradictory on purpose at times, because they like to throw in the unreliable narrator of Imperial History as controlled, redacted, and redefined by various parts of the bureaucracy.
  6. No mods at all. A completely clean install of the game with all the DLC content. I'm only getting that message crop up when I'm on a tactical map doing a mission. But as I said, 3 missions and 18 crashes and restarts. It's making me wary of investing any more time on the game
  7. Having a poke on my Steam Library and realised I hadn't actually gotten around to trying XCOM 2. So installed it, started it up. And found I get fairly continuous "pure virtual function being called while application was running (gisrunning == 1)" errors that crash me out. I've barely got into the third mission and I've had to restart the game about 18 times. No real solutions appear online after all these years, just that some magical combination no-one could ever confirm might possibly have an effect on some people... Apparently the Omnissiah is needed.

  9. Dead Boy Detectives is fairly entertaining for what it is. A fairly decent adaption of Neil Gaiman's work, but you can tell the influence some of the scriptwriters had with a CW background.
