  1. Hey, if we're going to keep current on this.. Forbes - Windows 10 Data Tracking Spying Levels
  2. io9 - A producer is tweeting descriptions of women from movie scripts
  3. Funny, but also kind of true...
  4. I did a quick run through. I think the new chapter takes about 2 hours. Some story aspects grow, most of it being caught up around doing one "mission" with Kaliyo as part of recruiting her. The story side is fairly decent, but the gameplay is lots of "go to location x and do y, then repeat again on the other side of the map". The really annoying bit I found with my Assassin was all of the scripted combat points that kick in even when you're in stealth. It doesn't even take you out of stealth. You can waltz past one mob, and suddenly another runs out and attacks you while you're stealthed. The HK-55 addition provided some of the usual HK amusing lines, so that helped balance out the general feelings. - Not that you could actually use him as a companion during the new chapter, but the small intro in getting him has a few chuckle moments.

  6. I will say this, the trailer for the Voices make it seem much more brighter and manic than it actually is. It straddles that fine line of black comedy and quite serious dark mental disturbed places.
  7. For another good but disturbing movie.. The Voices. Ryan Reynolds doing a rather outstanding performance as that slightly odd guy striving for normalcy in a small town, while doing his 9-5 job. Only to turn out to be a wee bit schizophrenic, with his cat and dog talking to him and offering advice. Things take a turn for the worse when his office crush stands him up on a date, then he accidentally kills her. It aims for dark comedy, but it keeps sliding into very serious, dark areas as Reynolds character deals with the worsening situation while being oblivious on so many levels as to what he's actually doing/behaving. Then it'll turn on its head, have a rather out there comedy moment that jumps for the light, only to then twist back to the rather creepy and disturbing schizophrenic off his meds moment. Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick help round out the supporting cast, and for the slightly bizarre, Reynolds actually does all the various voices of the animals that talk to him - A nice play on how they're all voices from his own head, even if the cat does talk in a murderous Scottish variation of his voice.
  8. I will say the whole Infamy mechanic that's been introduced into CK2 is a wee bit odd. As the guy who reforged the split faith of Orthodox and Catholicism.. I now find whenever I have casus beli or start a holy war against the infidels.. Every single nation in the world forms together to fight me. Including the Christians. And the old Pope.
  9. MSN - Woman Walks into her own funeral to surprise of husband who paid to have her killed
  10. Spotlight. I'm not Catholic and that is a really disturbing film. The story of the Spotlight investigative team from the Boston Globe who unearthed and then spent a year investigating how system child abuse was hidden by the Catholic church around Boston. Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Liev Schreiber, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci and a whole bunch of others sinking teeth into the serious drama of it all. The background social pressure, how so many people turned a blind eye for the "greater good" as they try to untangle the strands of the story and find evidence and multiple sources to prove it all.
  11. Okay, this one amused me some.. Tor - Back to the Future / Star Wars mashup
  12. Well maybe this will fit in here.. <whistles innocently> Kickstarter - Fubar : Bringing out the worst in America's best
