Film wise, theres six of them, with a few television and video games sprinkled on top. This particular movie was straight-to-video. Kevin Bacon was going to return to a new tv series following on from the first two films. But alas, apparently it got cancelled before they could really get the pilot going.

I've got some friends in San Diego I haven't seen in person for years, I'm pondering on how hard it would be to take a day trip during that period to go see them. I could leave dad with the one-armed bandits and get a short round trip flight possibly.. hm. Considerations, considerations.

Sat at the computer, doing some job search stuff online and phone goes. Dad: "What do you think of Las Vegas at Christmas?" Me: "Huh?" Dad: "Seriously, Las Vegas, Christmas, what do you think?" Me: "Sorry.. Um, what's this in relation to?" Dad: "Would you like to spend Christmas week in Las Vegas?" Me: "I guess it would be interesting, where's this coming from?" Dad: "Oh, just helping a friend sort out some holiday things, and I saw this cheap offer for a week at the Luxor for x amount, and if I book it for myself, it's only another 200 bucks for you to come. So want to spend Christmas in Las Vegas?" So looks like I might be doing a Father Son trip to the Strip Christmas week.

Think I might just restart Deadfire. I'd started then put it on pause to wait for the first two dlc's to be released, went to get back into it to have a slow refresh only to realise I have a bunch of quests picked up and I can barely remember what any of them are about.

With the latest Tomb Raider coming out, I'm finding myself amused by the "as this forges Lara into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be" taglines to it. They reboot the series and then take 3 entire games titled "Tomb Raider" to actually turn her into Tomb Raider. "Tomb Raider - As this starts her journey.... Rise of the Tomb Raider - As her journey continues..... Shadow of the Tomb Raider - As she finally becomes..."

Had an interview at my old college for a Data Analyst role. Pleasant interview, went well for the most part. Then my mind blanked out on a few simple technical challenge to write some basic code. Now I'm all "Hmmm."

Prepping for a job interview Monday morning, a bit of relaxed reading, and some juggling with the cat being needy and whiney. Hm, also got the latest update on Kingmaker and saw the "hey, if you haven't transfered kickstarter pledges to our backer portal, you won't be getting the game" which made me blink a little and realise I must have missed something some months ago. One of the minor flaws in getting continuous and regular updates on a kickstarter backed game, you start not paying complete attention to them in full detail when life has you busy.

I can hold my hand up and say I completed it. It had some fun moments in it, but I also have to say I can't actually remember the specifics of them now. It wasn't a bad game, it wasn't great, but at the time it was a generic mostly fun, that turned into a bit of a grind at some point.
