Needed some laughs, so started re-watching a few episodes of Staged on Netflix.

If 2020 was a Math problem : If you're walking on the ice cream at 5 ounces per toaster, and your bicycle loses a sock, how much gravy will you need to repaint your hamster?

That I noticed. One of the reasons I picked up a controller to try using with the PC. I just have that trouble where so many of the Yakuza mini-games involve some form of flashing up coloured buttons to press on time and in various rhythms, and I'm constantly having to double-check what I'm actually pressing and then screw up the timing. I need to spend many, many more hours building up my thumb and finger muscle memory to get it right..

I'm still kind of enjoying all those people complaining about Gal Gadot as Cleopatra doing a "how dare you cast someone not of Egyptian / North African ethnicity as Cleopatra! White-washing!" etc etc. Then the responses of "Cleopatra was Greek. With maybe some Persian thrown in. She never was of North African ethnicity. Know your own history."

I've tried getting into Yakuza, and while the atmosphere is great, I find that since i've grown up a PC gamer who never really uses a gamepad.. It's fairly awkward and not so much a fun gaming experience. My moments of OCD mean I cannot stop myself attempting all the mini-games, which are basically terrible to try with a keyboard and mouse. And if you don't have the memory twitch of how the buttons are laid out on the gamepad, you're constantly having to look down to double check that you're hitting the right one, which kills you on all the mini-games. Edit: To help clarify, I've been gaming with a mouse and keyboard for the last 30 years. Over that period of time, I think i've spent.. maaaybe 100 hours playing with a gamepad. Quite likely less.
