KOTOR 3 - The Revenge of the buged games from Obsidian New features added from KOTOR 2 -More Bugs to make it totally unplayable -More silly conversations just to make you bored in death -Worse Game ending in the history of PC gaming that make KOTOR 2 ending seem like awesome KOTOR 2 is nothing compare to these S**tpiece

Well lets face it Episode 1 and 2 SUCKED They had nice effects and nice choreographies in battles but except that everything other just SUCKED Espesially Phontom Menace was for small kids with Anakin driving a Starfighter and **** like that I will be cautious abiout Episode 3 I hope it is like the OLD good trilogy (Episode IV and after)

At least JADE Empire is pretty playable and very well polished game and with a better ending While KOTOR 2 still has serious bugs even with latest patch and it's ending SUCKS <_< Between KOTOR 2 and JADE EMPIRE i would choose JADE EMPIRE because it reminds me how well polished was KOTOR 1 from Bioware

If Revan or Bastilla was ancestors of Skywalker Then i am the toothferry

Without the patch it is even more worse, believe me These game should be called Star Wars BUGS of the old Republic 2 and with the nice signature "made by Obsidian" <_<

Welcome to the Bugy world of KOTOR 2 from Obsidian I hope you enjoy it because i did not Damn I really miss Bioware and KOTOR 1

These game is the BUGGIEST GAME EVER CREATED even with 1.0b patch OBSIDIAN had made me really angry....:angry: Damn Bioware why they gave the KOTOR 2 rights to amateur Obsidian

I loved KOTOR 1 almost all characters (including HK) BIOWARE RULLEZZZ In KOTOR2 not so much (and Generally i was dissaponted from all aspects) They had nice ideas but Obsidian has screwed things up, the game is a swallow buggy version of KOTOR1

I liked Darth Nihilius He was Mysterious with the clown or theatre like mask and seemed also very strong His power has resurrected a huge starship but he was a leech in the force He reminds me something from the Phantom of the opera but When i faced him he was soooo easy with the help of Visas i really kicked his ass What a disapointment He had so much power to control a Huge Starship but he was not a great Swordfighter Maybe Obsidian could make him more powerfull in a future patch (if it will exists and does not make him worse with another buggy patch ) OBSIDIAN really has screwed many things in these game from bugs to Enemy AI balance These game was Great in particular way but also a dissapointment for me I really start to hate Obsidian

When these patch is going to be released it has passed almost a week since 1.0b I hope not when Hell freezes

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Saying 2007 it was mostly a general statement What i meant is that it will surely take a lot of time (if a 1.0C patch will exist) Ok you can wait but just think that the 1.0b it was already late and created new problems Obsidian has screwed it up For fixing the 1.0b bugs there is already the Kotor restoration project that you can download modpatches\fixes and you do not have to wait if Obsidian will ever release a 1.0C patch NEXT TIME i pray to god that KOTOR 3 will be made from BIOWARE themselves and not from some bunch of rookies like Obsidian

Restoration project Yes thank god that these guys exists because OBSIDIAN can not distinguise a leg from a foot when concerning creating a game and a patch <_<

I am disappointed with Obsidian KOTOR 2 has Great potential But KOTOR 1 from Bioware was way more polished I never had so much serious bugs in a game as i have with KOTOR 2 Plus the ending and the plot that was discovered by the player was way better in KOTOR 1

PEOPLE START TO GET PISSED WITH OBSIDIAN INCOMPETENCE TO CREATE A BUG FREE GAME From Lucasarts.com forums POST NUMBER 1 Anyone else suffering this? On entering the academy from the ice plateau, am confronted by 3 handmaidens. But instead of automatically going to the confrontation with Atris, it skips it, Atton and Kreia are out of their cages but i cant talk to them, and cannot progress any further. On trying to talk to Atton, i get 2 options: 1. [cheat node] skip to PC conversation with Atris 2. [cheat node] talk to kreia Choosing option 1 just take syou around in a loop of talking to Atris. Option 2 doesnt work at all. -------------------------------- POST NUMBER 2 Im getting one crash that doesnt let me proceed in the game... im playing a LS female. right after i finish the secret academy on telos and board the ebon hawk, there is a cut scene where t3 displays a holo of my trial and then he tells the location of the masters, and i say we should look for them to seek help, then the game fade-out and starts an auto-save. about a third of the way saving, the game crashes to desktop. i tried passing the save to my brothers pc, took the cds there and installed the game just for this, but the game crashes too at the exact same point. i tried loading one save i had from the restoration zone and doing everything up to that point, and it crashed again, same exact spot. i tried rebooting, reinstalling... nothing and nothing. funny thing, i managed to save the game right after i board the ebon hawk and before the cut scene begin, and when i tried to load that one it also crashed... but this time it is a different crash, where it stop loading when on one third of the way, but the game doesnt crash, it just stand still. if i press alt+f4, the game pops up a window asking me if i really wanna quit... for what i read when looking for help about this, it might have something to do with visas, since when i escorted the annoying twilek from the base i got her cutscene... as i see it, since im the only one that seems to have this crash, it might have something to do with my cds... so if i could send my save for someone and they would get over this point for me and send back the save, i would be imenselly gratefull... if u can do this for me, plz give me a PM with your email so i can send u the save. (is there a pm system in this forum?) Edit: oh, and i tried turning auto save off and it still saves the game at that part... --------------------------------------------------------------- I tried the patch (hehehe, The Patch!) and it doesn't help. It sucks. It screws up the game at the Telos Academy. Use it at your own risk. I think they need to make a patch to fix The Patch

Nope Only the USA version (of 1.0b) is available There is the 1.0a available in all languages but does not fix anything

I have the same problem with the UK version There is something wrong with the patch installer Try to unzip the Update folder manually in the temp directory and run again the autoupdate program
