I like wordplay and Ion Fury stands out as on obvious band-aid name in comparison for me.

TBH the Amazons had me at "combat penguin". I'm on the fence on this game though, there's a bunch of thing about it I find appealing (and Michiel van den Bos is always a big plus), but OTOH I always have the same grievances with 4X games and most factions aren't my cup of tea. Plus I know AoW 3 let you mix and match races with leader classes and that's missing here? I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

Slowly making my way through Witcher 1 (and then the others) while waiting for Cyberpunk. The game aged a lot better than I expected, it's still playable with minimal headaches.

CDPR is independent with big money. Obsidian has always relied on publishers, and it's publishers who do the marketing. Because they publish. For those interested, the new edition of the PnP RPG, Cyberpunk Red is getting a jumpstart released around GenCon, which starts on the 1st of August.
