i think the gta games qualify as satire, but im not a comedy expert satire: "the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues" i think its clumsy and tends toward a more juvenile form of satire, but satire nonetheless

most of the time my games are in the 30fps range. when i do play a game getting 60fps, i feel like i can notice a slight difference, but i don't know for sure

you mean aim a rifle and pull the trigger? my wife is a better shot than me by miles. she would be 10x the soldier i would be, and i'm an adult male who is over 6 feet tall. So what we've learned from this is.. entrerix is a wimp. ..and we need pics of his wife. Pronto. no joke, she is 5'2 and only weighs 115 lbs, but her single rep max squat is about 40 pounds more than mine.... she has been lifting weights for a few years though, i dont think most women lift anything other than those little pink dumbbells. if you want pics just google AJ Lee, but change her face for someone who looks a lot like the actress from the xfiles. i dont think the wife wants me posting her pics online

the game has a cool vibe and atmosphere imo, makes it very enjoyable to just roam around. a lot of the animations are really well done for an mmo too

must resist urge to make new desktop background....

i'm no lady, but i can say that if gta 5 had a female character i would have picked it up on release, just to see something different.

i think they added the ability to scale the monsters as high as you want now, so you can pick your own challenge level for inferno. if you dont raise the monster level then you're playing on "easy" mode i could be wrong, i didnt read very closely

every once in a while i find out someone hasn't been able to get steam to work properly on their system. it always bums me out because that means said person is probably paying way too much for their video games.

I fully expect this. I expect it to be a SteamBox exclusive for, I'm guessing, 6 months. If you're going to launch a console-like-thingy, you need an exclusive killer title to sell it. It doesn't get much more killer than Half-Life 3. agreed, it makes the most sense steambox half life 3 left 4 dead 3 instant seller, big announcement generates a TON of excitement etc, if valve wants in on the "console" game, then this would be a great way to do it

Deep Down looks awesome. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the more games like dark souls and dragons dogma the better

if you play in online mode and are in human form.... they will hunt you down no hugs only death. (thats why i don't play in human form, the game is hard enough on its own, i dont need to be slaughtered by cheaters and trolls too)

i played dark souls virtually entirely in undead form, never got invaded once

whoa, you don't like the combat in sleeping dogs? I thought it was awesome, sooo much fun. I pretty much played that game for the martial arts fighting only. Oh well, not everyone likes the same stuff edit: currently playing Final Fantasy 14. I never played world of warcraft, but i played guild wars, and so far this game is not quite as much fun as guild wars was when it first released. The combat is pretty great though, and the graphics are very pretty. No storyline to speak of so far, but some of the side quests have little story bits that are nice (if you take the time to actually read everything, otherwise it's just "go here and kill ______") i can imagine having fun with the game for at least a month or two though, and that's a lot more than i can say for most games i've played lately

interesting stuff, most of which touching on things i had never even contemplated before (i know very little about comedy as an industry)

i switched from this to FF14 i think i'll switch back in a few months because i can't play any mmo for too long without getting tired of it

meh, i feel like i have talked to death all the reasons i hated ME3 (and why i stopped playing it after about 8 hours) I can't get money back from the purchase though, so all i can do as a frustrated consumer is not buy the next ME game.

i really liked bastion, it starts off maybe a bit weak, but the latter 2/3 of the game was quite good i thought.

DA 2 was a bit of a letdown, ME 3 was a terrible game imo

i am playing the waiting game. I just dropped the hammer on a fairly pricy pc upgrade, but it won't arrive for a couple weeks 500gb SSD incoming!
