I'm sure FemShep will receive adequate compensation for the lack of F/F action with a Thane/Garrus/Grunt foursome.
"The best thing about a suicide mission is how it brings species together".
The voice acting of Sareth is always a good laugh.
But not as hilarious as Jack in CoC calmly saying "This is a good place to hide!" while being chased by a Shoggoth.
Well, at least if you chose Leanna & did that purification ritual you received some badass weapons.
Melee becomes trivial as soon as you get the Lightning shield. All enemies will be stunned after a successful block and you can do whatever you want.
There's also that overpowered Shield spell that makes your character invulnerable for 20 seconds or so. Overall I found playing a jack-of-all-trades most fun.
Heavy Metal: FAKK 2 is another great game in the same mold.
Play as pure mage & throw statues into enemies' faces using Telekinesis. Never gets old.
Or for ultimate creativity, use Ice spell on floors & make patrolling guards slip & plummet to their doom.
Also, for lulz,
I remember a carnivorous plant in the Witcher's swamps that kicked my ass everytime I tried to fight it... and no matter where I ran off to, it just kept following me around everywhere. Pretty annoying.
It's pretty disappointing how according to the game's Codex during the final battle with the Archdemon during the First Blight, 1/3 of Thedas' armies went down the drain... but at the end of DA, the Archdemon is just one big pansy that gets owned by one ballista & 50 Dwarves.
The Darkspawn should've maybe woken up another Archdemon or two to spice things up a bit more. One more Archdemon that spouts green flames & other one that spouts orange flames... I hate purple.
My most anticipated game so far is Drakensang: River of Time which is released in Germany in a month. I played the demo and was impressed.
There's of course also Piranha Bytes, CD Projekt, Arkane Studios, Radon Labs, etc.
