None of the origin characters are very appealing, tbh. Maybe I'd pick frog girl for a Chaotic Stupid playthrough, killing as many party members as possible.

Does it make a difference if you pick one of the premade characters or make your own character in Barrel's Gate 3?

Is it worth investing in spell focus: abjuration to reliably dispel. It hasn't worked at all so far (of course Camellia is worthless using it) I groaned when that balor dispelled my entire party's buffs, similar to the final boss of Icewind Dale

When sneaking around Wenduag triggered a level 20 demon to appear out of nowhere. Luckily she had an amulet found earlier that summons two high level angels. The demon was ripped to shreds in no time. Crazy game

I read New Spring in which Siuan and Moiraine went on a trip together and didn't pick up anything as far as I remember.

I don't know what's scarier, losing a nuclear weapon or that it happens so often there's actually a term for it.

So during those CYOA story events that seemingly involve only the main character, are your party's skill levels applied anyway? I've passed skill checks that I shouldn't be routinely passing unless by rolling very high everytime
