It was only two Witcher projects and a new IP. The new IP and the Witcher port got the boot

But its isnt really OT, since its likely using the same engine and systems as FO3. And hell thats all we can talk about right now other than what we hope will be in, which devolves into hoping things from the older Fallouts will be in. Until we get some idea of where they are going with this game other than Vegas, these are the two subjects we can discuss, and we will discuss them to death

Sorry but I hate optimism. And I definitely dislike people who cant take negativity or criticism. If taking about what was wrong with FO3 and how to fix it is pointless, then talking about how awesome FO: NV will be at this stage is the height of pointlessness.

Even if that is the case, if the gameplay mechanics are half as broken as Arcanum's were, it can stay the heck off my PC. Its nothing like Arcanum.

Aliens isnt really horror, its action. Alien is horror that every sci fi horror IP since has tried to ripoff.

Better C&C than nearly anything in the last decade that isnt called Arcanum

Which is what I hope will happen. Most RPGs never challenge your ideology. All they do is concentrated on making you feel like a badass. I dont need to feel like a badass. I need interesting choices and dialogue, or a challenging viewpoint.

Well hopefully the PC in NV is a structured PC like The Nameless One or The Jedi Exile. But then again The Fledgling in Bloodlines was a blank PC and that game had a rocking story and dialogue with awesome characters. Its too bad you essentially went through their quest chain in one go and that was it, nothing past that point. Also I worry about Beth and Bioware hurting the progression of the genre. I mean we definitely are a few step back from game like Planescape, BG II, System Shock 2 and Deus Ex at the turn of the millennium. Its about bigger or prettier now and EPIC. And I dislike how Obsidian keeps putting themselves in the shadows of Bioware and now Beth. What a bunch of **** that the Aliens RPG got cancelled.

Bad news. The Witcher was a fantastic RPG with a damn good translation for an Eastern Euro dev. Also had an awesome journal

When people say soon, they realize that this will probably be a fall release in 2010 and likely has several months dev time behind it, right? I dont think combat changes are unfair to ask for if Bethesda doesnt ****block them

Obsidian, if you do anything, dont do what Bethesada did.

The funniest LPs are those with poorly written and conceived plots. Take a look at the FFVIII LP or anything by The Dark Id

Hopefully a Promethean: The Created RPG. Finally a game that can use the uncanny valley to great affect.

Ummm...its not suppose to be funny. Its purpose is to analyze and show everything in the game, something I wish more LP would do.

Most awesome LP ever. It beats out Jedi Jesus hands down. The carving depicts and elephant and a dwarf. The elephant is eating the dwarf. What LP is that?

They have a pretty decent one down at the archive, a role play one.

And I recommend not doing a Civ IV or Animal Crossing one either. If you've been to the LParchive you'll know what I mean. But we cant get enough bashing LPs. I read SAs Ultima IX LP but if the one on the Codex is funny, I'll have to check it out.
