Also Farscape is much more wacky, with lots of wacky stories and wacky characters.

Problem is, there's not many space wild west shows on the tv. So...

I bet for many it will be Skyrim.

The only issue I have with my PS4 is that I have like... 4 games. Most of the time the device is off and I'm not using it.

What Are You Playing Now: The New Beginning Thread

I'm working on getting some more tomestone stuff right now. So far I'm quite happy with how the Neo-Ishgardian looks like in combination with the raid gear. Neo-Ishgardian gear looks really good on my bard, but man, I hate how everything my tank can wear has these silly big and spiky shoulder pads. Basically for my Gunbreaker they give me two choices: 1. Silly shoulder pads, or 2. edgy coat. Annoying. I haven't finished the 5.2 post-story quests yet. Trying not to rush it too much, because 5.3 is "right around the corner" now. Doing the different raids, eden's gate, etc. in the meantime. Also got me my Gunbreaker and Bard resistance weapons. Other than that I still think the SHB content is *a lot* better than most of the stuff in SB. -
Yeah, it's hilarious and sad at the same time. Really don't know why people have to be so dumb on the internet.

Finished the FFXIV Shadowbringer storyline with my Gunbreaker. The last section had some super boring walk-around-some-more moments, but the actual ending was fantastic. Very well done, especially for an MMO. Honestly, I find this game to be a quite pleasant experience all around. You don't really have to grind super hard, you can switch your character class at any time, the characters are likable (except for Lyse, god I hate her), and the story / quest design is mostly well done. The other people in the raids, etc. are usually not toxic either, even if you f- up a bit, which is also something I don't really know from other games. Will probably start with the post-Shadowbringer content now. 20 quests have been released already, and the next batch will arrive in the new patch next month. -
I never even heard of "mixer" till now.

Funny, I'm still with FFXIV as well. I never got into MMOs, because their mechanics bore me after 2 to 3 weeks at max, but this game... Man, the story has some real heights. Started Shadowbringers two days ago and IT'S SO GOOD. It looks great, it's fresh, it's theme is mostly new to me, etc. etc. Stormblood had some good moments, but generally wasn't as good as Heavensward imo, especially Lyse is so god damn annoying, I hate her so much and was happy whenever she was not around ...... but Shadowbringers so far is simply blowing it away. What sucks a bit is that since I've hit level 70, the bonus experience was disabled, so now I stopped outleveling the quest requirements and have to do some grind. Also switched from Archer/Bard to Gunbreaker, so now I'm a super cool heroic dude with a knife that has a gun build into it. -
But then why mention it in the first place? Looks to me like attention-seeking. Heck, until yesterday I didn't even know he was somewhat involved at some point.

So it's said now that Bloodlines won't use any work done by MCA. Dunno if it was decided already before, or just triggered by the recent news, but they felt the need to announce that at least.

The golf club scene happens at ~1 or 2 hours, I'm way past that and it didn't bother me at all. I was just surprised at how graphic it was. I don't see a problem in how it came to be - actually it seems quite reasonable. Besides, it's 4 years after the first game and people change. Not sure why the situation should be out of character for him. -

Oh come on. What do you want? 1. You can't kill father figures in video games anymore, or 2. A big trigger warning at the start "ATTENTION: A FATHER-FIGURE MIGHT GET KILLED IN THIS GAME"? .... This is some sensitivity bs. Might as well remove all hints of rape, torture, war, etc. from any game, because someone somewhere likely will be triggered by it. If you use this to judge a game, it's no better than all this political correctness crap. I can't give a conclusion on quality of the story yet, because I'm only a couple hours in. But that's my point ... rating the story now is stupid. I'll tell you more in the future. /Edit: I am not sure if this is trolling or genuine. Where did I write anything about white supremacists? -

How can people complain about a shait story if they haven't played more than ~1 hour? This is such dumb crap, I don't even know how to reply to that. Also not sure what the father of that korean guy has to do with this, did someone kill him with a golfclub? Man, this garbage really pisses me off, especially the pathetic disk-breaking. -

Started playing The Last of Us 2. I'm 3 or so hours in the game now. First: Graphics are amazing. RDR2 was good, but this is even better. On the other hand, RDR2 had a big, mostly open world while that's not the case in TLoU2 (is that a working acronym?), so I guess that evens it out. Second: As I had expected, the big QQ from players after the story-leak happened is because these people hate change ... Third: So annoying how everyone talked about the look of that one female. Yeah, I get it, it's not a supermodel ... but will survivors in such a post-apocalyptic world really look like supermodels? I'd say it looks realistic and it's something different for once (hurr durr). Other than that, so far so good. Feels pretty much like the first game. -

Started playing a little bit MGS5 again and man, it's still hooking me. Shame we never got any sorts of expansion to the game. -
So if anyone can be fired at any time for no reasons given, then ... this whole "can't fire gay people"-thing is ... kinda useless? They will certainly say that you have not been fired because of the gay, then you will have to bring the prove, which in most cases is probably pretty hard or impossible.

The game was really hard - sometimes in an unfair way. This combined with the checkpoint saving needed some real nerves. I was still in school back in the days, so had lots of free time, but if a game would do that to me today, I'd stop playing it after a few hours.
-
I dunno man. Isn't that kind of campiness part of the charm of these games? It's not like we liked Bloodlines because it had such a high production value. Or just look at Deus Ex - ain't exactly AAAA+ either.
-
I mean, if the game would play 1:1 like the original Mafia 1, then I'm most certainly not going to touch it. Like, Mafia 1 was really cool, but I still remember the horrible checkpoint system and balance issues and how often you had to replay chapters, and all the long driving you had to do in *every* mission ... There are quite a few areas that would profit from improvements.
-
The city looks great, though. Not going to pre-order, but right now I'm pretty sure to check it out at some point.
-
Man, I had the hots for Damsel back in the days. But seeing this face now ....
-
I don't like either, but especially that this thing is vertical and not horizontal.

Problem is that the game has changed quite a lot since the campaign was made. Occasionally BI is fixing these issues, but many of these issues aren't exactly easy to fix. Later campaigns are much less error prone.
