I watched some of One Piece years ago. It was actually not bad. I stopped with it later because they didn't show new episodes in TV and then I forgot about it. Now there's so much .... One thing, though, is that lots of stuff is *very* drawn out at times. A simple fight can take multiple episodes and it just keeps dragging on. But other than that... I'd watch it again, I guess.

I finished watching JoJo's - Golden Wind a few days ago. Good again, but IMO Diamond Is Unbreakable was better. Bit of a shame that there weren't more cameos of old characters. Still, pretty hype for Stone Ocean now. Hope it won't take forever to come out here. /Edit: One thing I didn't like about Golden Wind was this whole "mafioso are noble and help the common folk"-thing. It's just so... ugh. Reminds me of One Piece where the pirates are doing everything but pirate stuff.

I found out that there is a 2 season anime of Berserk that continues after the 3 egg movies. So I binge watched the first season yesterday, and ... ... I think the animation style is bad. Everything looks so ugh. I already had some troubles with the 3 movies before, but compared to this now... even bigger decline. Still, I soldiered on and went through it. Liked how heavy Guts' sword felt, and the metal plonks, etc. Generally it was not bad, but then I thought the middle part is way too long and nothing of importance is ever happening, which in hindsight I find really boring. Now I'm not sure what to think of it. I like it, but also I never want to ever watch it again, because there's boredom creeping out of every corner. Guess.. in the end, the only reason why I made it through season 1 is because I thought something epic will happen "any minute now" ... I'm starting season 2 now ... for exactly the same reason.

I didn't even know it was possible to make mods for Mass Effect.

Considering the german language, I know my fair share of gender related terms. But stuff like "They will go to the backery" for a single person just sounds completely wrong to me. In german you'd probably use "Es geht zum Bäcker" which even sounds devaluing, as it implies you don't adress the person as a person, but a thing. Anyways. Just saying. /edit: I just did some googling and in german it's actually "xier" and "xies" ... xier, xieser, xiem, xien, dier, dies, diem, dien ... Probably for the better if I just pretend to have never seen this.

I think it is because it had some slight bits of multiple ways to finish the quests. Like, you could just slash with your sword, or you place a poisoned apple and stuff like that. But other than that, I, too, don't remember anything from it.

I still don't understand the pronoun thing. What exactly does they/them mean? As a non-native english speaker it just breaks my brain.

I think the difference between creators and consumers is that creators often want to do something different at some point. You just want to advance in some way / get away from the old and do something new. Consumers on the other hand just want the same experience. They want to feel the same as the last time and if the new doesn't feel like what they know, then "it's not it anymore." Honestly I can feel both sides. As a creator myself, after years I just want to throw in some lolz to freshen things up. But as a consumer, I just want to murder whoever ruined my Fallout games.

This is the only good thing that came out of that product. Might as well just look it up on youtube instead of wasting time and suffering through the rest of it.

I've played SR3 and SR4 (and Gat out of Hell, but let's not talk about that one) in coop with a friend and that made them even better, because you could laught about stuff together and just **** around in the game world.

They will just do more crap for the online parts. No thanks. Take-Two can eat it and die for all I care.

I really want to like SR4 the most, because it has so much funny crap in it, but sadly it made driving cars and stuff completely useless, which is why I find SR3 better.

It's getting better all the time, imo. Especially the changes in art style and use of colors are great. The spin-off with Kishibe Rohan was pretty good as well.

Finally started watching Jojo's Bizzare Adventures - Diamond is Unbreakable. Crazy how good Jojo became over the years. For me it's probably one of the best animes now.

lol Jessica Chobot looked so bad in ME. I wonder if they did that on purpose.

It's not about the showing off, it's the camera work combined with the positions where the game freezes and waits for your input that is atrocious.

lol I forgot how obvious that Mirana ass-shot was. I honestly don't mind the change, but I think the new camera position is pretty crappy as well. Actually the whole camera work in that scene is just bad. The shot before and right after isn't good either. It's just way too obvious how they want to frame her body.

Vol.3 was already announced for May 2022.

I also liked the DLCs almost more than the main game. Death of the Outside is still my absolute fav, though. Talking to rats? Big plus-plus.

Arkane is Bethsoft, but it's not *Bethsoft* so comparing the writing really doesn't work here.
