  1. To be honest, I just checked out the trailer and I'm not really motivated to watch it either.
  2. Finished The Witcher s2. Had some mhm moments for me, but all in all I think it's good. Just this time... I could not remember a single scene from the books. Then again, I can't even remember much from the books either. Always loved the short stories, because they were about Geralt, while the big books were all about politics and whatever, and I just didn't really care. In fact, now I remember that I had to force myself a lot through most of it, so maybe that's why I barely remember anything about it outside of the Falka-stuff.
  3. I'm guessing most people wouldn't tell you if they do that, because they know you'd call them out on it. Also, children. I can see it on my nephews who are playing these stupid flashy mobile games and they want skins and whatnot. We look at it and see how bs it is, but they don't know better. And it's hard to teach them if all their classmates are doing this crap.
  4. I am in Episode 5 now and it is very captivating. Need to take a break, but I really want to watch the next episode... It's a good sign, I guess.
  5. Not *all* content, but the content up to that point of the game. Which means Vault 15, Shady Sands, Junktown, and important bits of The Hub. Hell, you even learn about these locations in that order, and the NPCs will always send you to the next town in line.
  6. Oh no, Fallout 1 watertimer discussion. Ok, first thing: the default 150 days are enough time to finish all content on the red story path up to that point. In worst case you can buy 100 more days a bit later. So unless you start walking around randomly on the worldmap (which you never have a need for actually), you will not run out of time. Next thing is.. Fallout 1 doesn't even have *that* much content. The only way for you to run out of time is if you literally waste it. The game is never sending you to a place without giving you hints about how to proceed.. players just have to read what the NPCs are saying. That said, you can as well just ignore most side quests at first and do them once you return with the water chip. You will walk past every single settlement again and can do stuff there - hell, personally I'd say it makes even more sense to do the side quests later. Half of them have higher level requirements, which are hard for the early game (Raiders, for example -- pretty sure the developers didn't intend the player to slaughter them on level 3, but level 8 when he returns from the water chip delivery task). etc. etc. yadda yadda. IMO people are scared of the timer for unreasonable reasons. I blame other games with crappy writing for this, though. People got trained to not read and just blindly follow arrows.
  7. I was sleeping through the first two episodes and haven't watched it anymore since few weeks now.
  8. Too busy right now to play and starting on weekend I won't be at home for 3 weeks.
  9. I also like TW2 more than 3. It took me a long time to just finish TW3 .. somehow the game really did not want to click with me. Can't even really tell why that is. Maybe part of it is the minimap which my eyes were glued on all the time, so I can't even remember anything of the landscapes. Another thing might be the boring "exploration" of the world, which felt artificial to me. TW2 had this tighter story focus. It was a somewhat smaller game and thus felt better to me. That said, I never finished TW1, because the loading times killed all the fun for me.
  10. What a coincidence. Project Zomboid MP beta was released last friday, and thousands of people are hype about it now. Hell, I even rented a dedicated server just so me and co. can play it.
  11. Damn, I had already forgotten this show was a thing. : >
  12. Didn't even like the first game, and the second apparently has "jump pads" from air vents. Nah, this is too much for me.
  13. I kinda fear that the 2nd movie will be somewhat meh again, because now they know there is big hype, and imo it usually won't end well.
  14. Yesterday I've learned about the Two Men by the Sea painting and I think it's the most Bloodborne thing I've seen so far. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Men_by_the_Sea
  15. The problem for me with s5 was that you *never* really saw any wideshots of destruction. Even once they climbed out of the underground facility and looked around at the surface, the show did *not* show the wide area. It's implied that a lot is destroyed, but it is never shown. Guess they had no money left for that part or something... Lack of money might also explain why there were so many Naomi scenes, which mostly took place in small rooms and didn't require any CGI. And it likely also explains why s6 will only have 6 episodes.. this is going to be CGI-heavy. /Edit: Also, don't forget to watch the 5 mins bonus episode.
  16. Yeah, for a movie aimed at kids it's still quite enjoyable. I wouldn't hype on it as much as the internet did back then, but I didn't fell asleep while watching, so that means something I guess.
  17. Watched the first one, wasn't bad. Will watch the second as well.
  18. To be honest, I was looking a bit forward to a s2.
  19. Yeah, this is bad. Basically I don't even care what weapons are on my mechs, at max. I am looking at the item level but that's it ... everyone runs with the same stuff. It's really lame.
  20. I'm a boy of the Federated Suns, always have been, so I started somewhere in the center right. There's so many things that annoy me in this game, but still I can't stop playing now. Ugh. That said, by now I also feel like the equipment you can put on the mechs is awfully limiting. I could swear back in the MWO days I was able to equip multiple weapon modules based on available slots (e.g. 4x LRM5 instead of 1 LRM20), but this isn't possible here... This really, REALLY sucks. Honestly, feels like a dumbed down version of what it should have been. Also modules and stuff where added into slots directly in MWO, here you just put them into a list and done. Meh.
  21. lol this is Dobby in his wild years.
  22. I never finished Infinite, because I also found it boring. Also I just don't like this typical Unreal Engine look anymore. No clue what it is, if it's the shaders or the way the player moves, but I just don't like it at all. Didn't know they made a remaster of the first Bioshock, but I also kinda don't feel the mood to replay it.
  23. Same issue I criticized about recent Life is Strange games. It's total garbage writing that will not help their cause, but instead rile up people who otherwise wouldn't really care.
  24. I think I f'd up in MW5. Had 20 million in the bank and thought I could risk jumping into higher level territory. Went there, found some nice heavies, bought an Archer and a Stalker, then went on my first mission... and oh boy did it go wrong. Finished the contract, but lost 3 mechs, which spiraled me into a huge hole of depth. Had to sell some stuff to make it back into easier territory but now I'm still scrapping by... because the running and repair costs are so high, it's hard to stay in the green. That said, now with some better mechs, the gameplay is less frustrating. Even the raid / base destruction missions feel better now, simply because the big mechs can just stomp through walls in no time, and because you have more armor, you can also withstand more enemy fire while doing so. Still wish the missions wouldn't feel all the same, though. Oh, and it kinda seems like the maps are better looking now too - especially the deserts seem to work much better in the engine.
  25. Huh, never thought that one would get a 2nd entry. Not gonna lie, probably a first-day buy.
