Finished Cobra Kai season 2 today. Wasn't as good as the first season. Too much forced drama and a predictable storyline. Guess a tv show doesn't automatically get good just because you pour lots of money on it. Also binge watched The End of the ****ing World season 1 and 2. That show was awesome. Thought they wouldn't be able to deliver good with season 2, but to my surprise it was a perfect continuation. Kinda digging these 20 minute episode shows. They come with a lot less filler and are often more on point. Need to find me more such stuff.

Dunno, I played MGS1 and 2 a lot on PC back then. I actually never played these games on console. Only for MGS2 I had to install some patch if I remember right, but everything else worked.

MGS and MGS2 had real PC releases. I'm guessing that's them?

Most of the puppets and sets were already done with season 1. That means a season 2 would have cost a lot less money to make. Netflix's decisions are just stupid. Garbage like Another Life gets a season 2, but stuff like this does not... Kinda hoping now that Amazon would pick up the show. Praying to every god that it won't go to Disney+.

Weird, random, interesting - now with 100% less diacriticals

Is wonder how this would affect other websites. For example I sometimes simply use my fb login on other sites, simply because I'm too lazy to create an account for something that I likely only need once. -
What the ****ing ****, piece of **** Netflix canned The Dark Crystal. What the **** is wrong with these dumbnuts doing all these retarded decisions. God, I'm seriously pissed now.

Who are these people? Personally I've never heard of that outside of WW2 history stuff. I'd also argue that the language is more close to that of Bavaria, and bavarian accent is already quite odd at times.

Generic office jobs exist almost everywhere. There's PR / advertisement stuff, accounting, lawyers, QA, HR, etc. Of course if you actually want to do game design stuff, applying to these positions seems kinda the wrong approach. Other than that, you don't have to "go to school" for game dev stuff at all. You can get into it with making mods as well... you just have to show your skills (which you have to do anyways, even if you went to some fancy game dev study group). Results to show are more important than degrees, imo.

I like how they inverse characters and show the different perspectives. It would have been easy to make one the good and one the bad guy, but they didn't went that way. It's especially good because if you rewatch the old movie, the "good kid" comes off as a real ass now (it was covered by some other youtube videos as well a while ago - basically showing examples of why he is actually the real bully). tl;dr - pretty good so far.

Everyone is talking about Cobra Kai, and I don't have anything else to watch right now, so I booted it up .... I was never much a fan of Karate Kid, etc. but man, that show is pretty good. Certainly going to keep watching it.

So apparently Trump is going to ban TikTok for real. Does he really have the powers to do stuff like that? Feels weird - are we sure america isn't a dictatorship yet?

That url from the video really exists: https://www.nightcity.love

Man, and america looks crazy already with their pledge to the flag and singing the national anthem every morning, etc. That's some pretty good fascist brainwashing already.

Watched The Devil All The Time yesterday, with twilight sparkle vampire and spiderman. Was quite interesting, even though a bit slow at times. Loved the accents, which were pretty cray. Don't think I would watch it again, because it's so wacky, but well worth one go.

Worst is that australia is traveling north, so in a few hundred years or so it will hit the mainland and all its monster critters will get lots new grounds to cover.

It's a VR game, so it might feel completely different ingame. Still doesn't make me want to play it, though. Personally I would like something more normal for once. The reason why I like the Dan Abnett books is because they feel more grounded and show civilian life, etc. Can't they do something like this in a game for once instead of all this tryhard grim stuff?
-
Huh, that felt pretty fast. Didn't expect it until much later in 2021.

The press conference:

It's pretty big news, even though we still have to take it with a grain of salt. Will probably spawn a bunch of new Venus missions, which is also cool.
-
tl;dr of what's going on there?
-
I started watching Chernobyl. I'm at episode 2 now and man, it's like a horror movie.
-
It'll be just more stupid lens flares and dumb plot twists.

Wait, they are working on yet another Star Trek show that will turn out to be garbage?

Finished my second go of the Witcher. The best part of it is probably the music. Very fitting and well done. Also I don't mind the casting of Triss anymore. Guess folks back then were just in shock because game Triss looks extremely different and gamers don't like this.. Damn, I want season 2 now.

Alpha Protocol is the reason why I stopped reading any game reviews. Funny how the game was completely trashed by the american media, while the european media praised it. Sure it had its flaws and lots of issues, but it was still a fun game. Played through it 7+ times back in the release days, because you could do so many things differently and the ending completely changes. /Edit: And it made me furious when one year later, the same people who excessively trashed the game, suddenly came around and posted articles like "hey.. actually this game isn't so bad after all" ... F* these people, really.
