  1. Slowly getting into DX:MD. That side quest in the bank was p.cool - really felt Deus Ex-y for me.
  2. Anyone here living in Prague? I am starting to wonder if there really is a bottle of booze in every second cupboard / container / locker.
  3. So about these items. I found out I can get the classic revolver from my stash in the inventory. If I transfer it into my inventory and then use it, I can never have it again if I restart the game? The classic revolver looks better, but now I don't want to use it, coz I'm scared to lose it. To.
  4. Indeed. But kinda off putting when there are people in the house, not giving a damn about you stealing their credits and stuff. "Oh this? Yeah, just go for it. No idea where that's coming from."
  5. Ok, I give up. Where is she? PS: You should srsly make screenshots with ArmA3. /Edit: Found her now. But why the weird clothes?
  6. Is there so much hate about it? (Haven't read anything, don't care what "professional whatevers" are saying) For me, something in this game feels off. I have no clue right now what it is, it's just... something. Also I am not hating it, but a part of me constantly says "meh, somehow HR was better". Pretty much could be because of the setting, though. Like I've wrote already- this Prague ghetto theme doesn't really give me a kick, just like it never worked for me in Half-Life2. On the other hand, I can understand why they went with it- we already had big american- and chinese-styled high-tech cities and stuff, so it makes sense to try something completely different now.
  7. First thing I chose was this icarus landing thing. Had been super useful already in HR.
  8. Maybe she wants to stay friends or something. Or she turned you down because of "initial shock" and later somewhat regretted it? :>
  9. Ok, gave DX:MD another try. Reduced the mouse sensitivity to about 20%, which makes it a little bit better (still feels weird). Also the interface just feels lagging behind... so annoying. So far it does have a HR feeling to it, but I'll guess I just can't get into the Prague setting. Liked Detroit a lot more, and loved Hengsha. Maybe it's because the Praque scene is set in a ghetto or something, no idea. Jensens apartment looks nice and realistic- could even do something like this with my rooms... if I had the money to replace everything.
  10. Wish I could just disable this stupid triangle feature. I don't use it, and I don't want to be remembered of it all the time.
  11. I've read about this. The US needs to be diplomatic with Turkey, and if the Kurds advance any further, they could get too strong, which is something Erdogan obviously doesn't want. Therefore US now tries to side a little bit with the turks to get a saying in other potential issues (for example, not giving out Gülen). Trying to stop the Kurds is most likely the real reason for the recent attacks on the IS.
  12. Now I want to know what kind of army dares to attack russia.
  13. DLC itself isn't the problem. It's ****ty DLC for high prices and people buying them. How the hell can anyone spend 10 bucks on one or two tiny multiplayer maps that don't even add new gameplay mechanics? Or stupid weapon skins that are nothing more but a different color. It's madness.
  14. Just remember the preorder bull**** they've pulled before. Right from that moment it seems they tried to milk it as much as possible. And didn't someone already wrote that the two dlcs will be set in the middle of the main game? Once again it's like they've cut out content to sell it later... Just like it felt with The Missing Link.
  15. Actually I hate this "collect crap and do mobile phone stuff" and then like in the first 5 minutes of playing the new DX, of course I will find collectibles and stuff for whatever mobile app...
  16. My ps3 was always downloading extremely slow. Annoyed the hell out of me.
  17. Played the new Deus Ex for about 20 minutes and yes, it feels like a console game now. The mouse is moving somewhat blurry for me (god damn mouse smoothing??), and I don't know.. the whole movement is kinda weird. Not sure exactly what it is right now. Maybe it'll get better when I play it some more. Also the interface screams way more console than human revolution. Maybe I should play this game on the couch with gamepad, instead of mouse & keyboard..
  18. I've read that these items are one-game only. So if you activate them in your current playthrough, you can't get them again in your next, etc. :D
  19. Still downloading it. Somehow steam download is super slow recently.
  20. I think fo4 dlcs are all done. Also funny how all their games now are shooter and not at all related to RPGs. Lel. I mean, not that they necessarily only have to work on rpgs, but looking back the past, it seems fo5 won't even get branching dialogues. :>
  21. It pretty much says that Prey 2 developers were pushed down because Bethesda continuously tried to find reasons not to pay for development milestones. After a while, Zenimax would step in and offer to lend money to the developers, until "the situation has been worked out" and in the end they would try to buy the studio to get their hands on the full game and all following profits. Look at all these lies. :>
  22. Yikes. It's pretty clear that the publisher arm of Bethesda (Zenimax) sucks. There had been bad stories about Zenimax already back in the days when Fallout 3 was in development (not Fo3 related, though). Though everyone said Fallout fans are but haters. :>
  23. Sure, I'll send you the link to the file via pm.
  24. Over a year since I've created this thread, and now the time has come where I must revive it. Also I've made good experiences here on the forum, so that helps as well. My current mod project is in the fine tuning- and tweaking-phase right now, which also means... I could really use the help of one or two proofreader again. So what is this about? As the one or the other might have noticed, I've spend the past months working on a short campaign for Armed Assault 3. Right now, this thing is completely playable and basically has all the features it needs. Currently I am pretty much only fixing bugs and try to make everything as good as I possibly can. This project has a bit more text than my New Vegas mod from last year (still *not* a book, though). I tried to keep my shait at a reasonable length, because I am aware of my shortcomings as a writer (I suck), and most importantly, I am planning to get a few voice actors again... which probably will be much harder this time, as they will need to speak in Farsi (Persian) most of the time. For that to work out well, I'll have to let all dialogue get translated into that language first... which makes the proofreading even more important. Actually, beside proofreading, I also wouldn't mind a little bit of editing here and there (like mentioned, I don't think my writing is necessarily very compelling). I am not going to make any money with this project (in fact, my first calculations imply that I will have to spend quite a few bucks on it), but because it has to feel as good and as polished as possible to me, I am willing to pay some money for this job. Don't get me wrong- I am not rich.. it probably won't be a lot, and certainly not up to industry standard.. but hey, like I wrote above already... I want this thing to turn out as good as I can get it to be. Anyone around who might be interested in helping out? The text is in a Google Sheets file (super easy to work with + version history). In total it's about 650 lines, I would say. Maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. Experience with some military bullshait talk would be fancy, but isn't necessary.
  25. Yeah, but he doesn't shoot the blades at people in HR. /Edit: And the blades don't explode.
