So apparently Obsidian fired a writer or he resigned or whatever because he posted on the codex some stuff once. Now some SJW or whatever folks are all like "rejoice!" and "justice!" and crap. The Killjoys intro for season 2 was really good. A shame the show wasn't changed into the same "feeling" / style. It just has this weird old school cheesyness going on that I wouldn't mind not having anymore... Heck, it's as if Syfy likes this kind of stuff, because - as far as I can remember right now - most of their shows are stuck in it. It's always a somewhat weird looking female lead, with weird sidekicks, following a cheesy story from the late 90s or something.

Wouldn't it make more sense to ask this in some Ultima forum? I'd be surprised if anyone around here can answer that question.

That linked steam thread is pretty gold. Just imagine playing PoE in coop with someone who hasn't played the game yet... If your party is a slow reader, it gets even better. :> Heck, just imagine marketing would have won back in 1997 and Fallout would have ended up as a real time multiplayer title... certainly would have improved the games quality drastically... not. :>

Life is Strange - Before the Storm is out now. Already finished that episode. Short as always. Cringey as always. Still emotional and hooked me up. Damn. Now about two months until episode 2.

The "ability to get stuff done", indeed. While it looks fancy to walk through a station... once... I don't think it will be a fun experience for long. Walking around in the ship sounds cool, though, at least for as long as there is stuff to do. If it's just a pointless graphical hull, then I won't be needing it either.

Yup, the shooter part was really good. The world actually *looked* good, even though it is highly linear. The texture streaming was completely borked (and still is, last time I checked it). The story is like... I don't know, they just stopped and called it a day. Sometimes I find myself restarting Rage, but I never finish it. Really a shame... This thing could have been so good. Oh, and it didn't helped that the modding tools got released years later. At this point it was too late. Nobody had any interest in the game and engine anymore. They should have put it out right at release, then I bet we would have seen some cool projects arise.

Never finished Doom 3 because it got super boring mid-game. Rage was awesome, but the end is utter crap.. completely ruined an otherwise great game. Oh, and the texture streaming that still has issues today.

Just watched the Star Citizen gamescom stream and... it was kinda awful. Makes me feel a little sad about everyone involved. So many bugs and glitches. Pretty much everything they have shown glitched in some way. Player movement, player interactions, flying, driving, using buttons... Last year was awesome, but this one... kinda wish I hadn't seen it. From now on they really have to deliver, otherwise I can see the internet tearing up more than ever before.

Don't know any that would work as a game. The ones that could... can easily be done as something on their own, without connection to any book. As example, there is no point in a Dark Tower game, when as well you can just make a wacky Weird West game instead. Same outcome, more creative freedom, less license money to pay.

It's likely more for the lolz than true science. We've already seen similar with Adolf Hitler in hell. It's like they pick a certain group of people and insult them as much as they can. :> /edit: Was pretty funny, otherwise I thought that last episode was quite boring. Oh, and I totally hate the season 2 Tulip story arc. I want that Tulip back who was able to craft a home-build rocket launcher and shoot down a helicopter.. this whiny something is just slow and annoying now.

Weird, indeed. It would very likely drive me crazy.

I give them a lot freedom and never cared about little fingers jumps, etc. but this GoT episode was just way, way too much and completely unbelievable. I wouldn't mind it that much if they had put up a small camp or similar... something that makes it look like they could survive there a bit longer than a few hours.

From the very moment on I knew this whole thing was just a setup to give the enemy some undead dragon. Really, it's the sole purpose of that whole episode. Teleportation never felt this strong ever before. Really bad, actually. And then they just sit there, with the back to the leader guy, instead of keep burning the enemy. They could have won this whole thing just right there... it just made no damn sense, really. While visually pleasing, this episode made me roll my eyes like crazy. Also we know Danny doesnt give a f about fire, but apparently she doesn't care about the cold either. Didn't even switched clothes before teleporting to Antarctica.
