  1. This change made me checkout some of the negative reviews for FNV. lel.
  2. Just finished the second Dishonored DLC. It was nice, though I kinda liked the first one a tad more. Tomorrow I'll start with Dishonored 2, I guess.
  3. In fact, it appears you are triggered. LMAO. :>
  4. Huh, is it still $40? I could swear that I've seen it for $15. Haven't checked the Steam shop, though. /edit: Indeed. Found it, bought it, done. :> I have no idea about these bundle games. Just know that a dude I know got a ****ton of keys from this stuff. Don't know why people spend money on a pack of games where they never want just half of em.
  5. So I just watched Wonder Woman and I think it was an ok movie. But seriously, Gal Gadot looks waaay too weak on the arms, imo.
  6. Yeah, that trailer looks like the usual family evening adventure thingy to me. Maybe it's a little more violent or something, but other than that...
  7. I feel really dirty for asking, but does anyone have a Dishonored 2 key flying around somewhere? :>
  8. Funny, the villain and final encounter is usually what I find the most boring and annoying in ANY superhero movie. Seriously, of the top of my head right now, I don't remember any that I really liked. Especially if they go all out in super CGI that's usually when my brain shuts off and I could nick away. /Edit: Except the Nolan's Batman movies. I still like them the most.
  9. Yeah, developers don't post on forums anymore, because anything they say, no matter what, will be picked up and turned into a twitter news story by some folks. People then either get overexcited, or it creates a huge negative backlash... Management usually doesn't want that to happen. Reminds me of the time where everything Notch said somewhere, it was turned into a pointless news article. Urg.
  10. Is there no new Obsidian piece anymore?
  11. Yeah, it was one of the movies that I could easily sit through from the beginning to the end. Really well done. Compare that to movies like Jupiter Ascending, where already 30 minutes in I kept wondering what the hell I'm even doing with my life. :>
  12. Lawrence of Arabia has a really impressive visual quality as well. If not for the sound, it looks like a modern movie. I've looked it up a while ago, because I wanted to know how this was possible. Turns out, movies that had been recorded with analog technology can be remade in whatever resolution you'd like to (and them resized smaller to make them look sharp again), while that is impossible with digital movies (some data is always lost and increasing the resolution would lead to pixelation).
  13. Alright, bought the DLCs.
  14. Not sure about bloomy, but blurry is specific Dishonored's art style - apparently, the textures were designed to feel washed out and blurred into each other. Yeah, but it's not just that. The whole game just feels so... Unreal Engine. Despite this, though, the game is quite fun. Like a mix of Deus Ex and Thief. Should be done with the first game soon. Not sure if I'll pick up the DLCs as well or just head straight to the second game.
  15. So I bought the first Dishonored game, because it is 5€ right now and... I can't help it, but I really loath the unreal engine style. Why is it that Bioshock and such all feel the same from a visual point of view? Everything is kinda blurry of sorts, and bloomy, and the player movement feels so floaty... Do all Unreal engine games use the same shaders and stuff? It's really annoying to me.
  16. ^ they are the reason why I never finished it. A real shame.
  17. You read this and then you remember how every other guy on the internet wanted to turn this metacritic thing into a big Obsidian vs. Beyhesda fight, even though there weren't really any signs about it around.
  18. Don't worry. Before the games release, they'll switch to a newer engine to make it look fresh again.
  19. I had to ise offline mode yesterday because my internet isn't working once again and it took many minutes till the client even gave me the option to use offline mode. This thing was loading in limbo forever... i guess until the final timeout happened.
  20. I think Deadpool is super unfunny.
  21. Anything new mentioned in it?
  22. Eh, what's the deal with your fixation on "pro-GoG" and "anti-Steam" ... As far as I am aware, nobody except you mentions this stuff? Based on my experience, there is no such conflict going on here.
  23. I have bought exactly 0 games on GoG in 2017. Most of the stuff released on Steam nowadays is simply trash. Just take a look at all these identical MMOs who all just look a bit different. Or all these identical open world sandbox survival games. I'm not saying they shouldn't be on Steam or whatever... I really don't care, because I don't bother with them... Just saying that there is rarely anything interesting going on as of now.
  24. I bought exactly 3 games and 2 DLC bundles on Steam in 2017. I felt zero interest in having anything else than these. I can't imagine how painful it must be to slog through these 5k titles in the Steam shop.
  25. /Edit: Wrong thread lel.
