  1. Hm, so I need to read or watch other non-game media to understand some things in DX games, I'm guessing ? As for Clancy, surprised you'd link views not the tenuous connection to the Red Storm games and so on. I do like the joke on Kotaku about him joining the Ghosts, though.
  2. That's weird that it's such a burden, what kind of umbrella are you using ? I keep mine in my backpack as it adds nothing to the overall weight of the pack and out of it only if there's rain predicted and that prediction seems likely.
  3. You've obviously never waited 30 mins for a bus in a downpour or walked a fair distance. Walking around soaked isn't all that fun to be honest - though it was fun to wring all that water out of my khakis that one time. Just as long as it's not those massive golf umbrellas I see people with, it's a handy thing to have.
  4. Watched my team spank Napoli, which was good. Now I wait 40 minutes for a streetcar not crammed with people.
  5. Meh to HL3.
  6. http://store.steampowered.com/app/242980/ Suck it down.
  7. Who are you to say what 'a little bit' means
  8. And they can work as impromptu dusters...well...not that effective I'd imagine.
  9. Well that line was funnier than anything in the article. Checking a watch is easier for me than fishing my cellphone out of my pocket. Undershirts can be handy in summer, if you're walking to work or just around, having sweat soak through your shirt isn't that great. Granted, even the undershirt can be defeated if it's that hot out.
  10. I'm surprised they had to mention an umbrella. Though it would explain why people panic when it rains here and then can't walk two blocks.
  11. Big country they can travel around in, if most can afford it, I suppose. Why never a watch ?
  12. Seems reasonable, barring all the booze related stuff. Tailored suit would be handy, though would make sense to reason out how much you'd wear it - I have a suit just for interviews and funerals which don't happen that often, for example. Agree on the Leatherman, those things are nifty.
  13. Finished off Ballad of Gay Tony, was pretty fun overall, Yusuf showing up in the last mission was nice though when he mentioned chopper i though I had to fly the thing, which is rather annoying for me to do on the PC. Plugging away in WoW with my mage for a little bit while I decide on what else to play.
  14. Coworker got broken ribs so the team is even more depleted. Actually the team is just the manager, so right now it's a giant clusterf**k. Good times, good times.
  15. Sad to hear that, especially in front of his kids. Do they have a defibrillator at the rink ?
  16. I'm thinking 'Kill the Mutant'. But that's just me.
  17. Yeah, I know that and am vaguely aware of what Linux is. But was curious how tied in Steam itself will be to the OS. Heh, trying to use Linux without a proper keyboard would be fun.
  18. Meh, not seeing the whole excitement. I am interested in SteamOS in at least to see how much they let you do with it.
  19. Not understanding this burning desire to play PC games on a couch. I guess KB&M schemes on ports will be crappier in the future.
  20. So you're a real life SJW then ?
  21. http://kotaku.com/how-lucasarts-fell-apart-1401731043 Article on LucasArts and its demise.
  22. The things people do. Wonder if they still have a similar show here in Toronto - last I heard of it was about 5-6 years ago.
  23. Not quite as energetic as his Sky ad back in the day.
