  1. Sorting through my ipod, rather amused to find I have 9 versions of Guerilla Radio, too many live ones, I guess.
  2. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-08-18-rainbow-six-siege-delayed-to-december R6 Siege delayed, oh no, this is sad.
  3. Well, also have ISOs, if you're concerned about the physical media degrading and you have some issue with an optical drive. In that case not sure the "format" is all that different. Hm, thinking on it, not sure I've even tried making one of a game with SecurROM or Starforce or what have you, might not be possible.
  4. Aquanox KS - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/806010995/aquanox-deep-descent Got this game with one of my GF cards, never did play it though.
  5. Well, they're useless as you've just let them be and it's not impossible or even difficult to have a system that runs them these days - XP ran a lot of my old favourites pretty smoothly with a minimum of tweaking. But there's always GOG for older releases, even if it is funny to have to buy a game again to play it.
  6. http://www.pcgamer.com/report-games-with-securom-and-safedisc-drm-wont-run-under-windows-10/ "Everything that ran in Windows 7 should also run in Windows 10. There are just two silly exceptions: antivirus software and stuff that’s deeply embedded into the system needs updating—but the developers are on it already—and then there are old games on CD-Rom that have DRM. This DRM stuff is also deeply embedded in your system, and that’s where Windows 10 says, 'Sorry, we cannot allow that, because that would be a possible loophole for computer viruses.' That’s why there are a couple of games from 2003-2008 with Securom, etc. that simply don’t run without a no-CD patch or some such.""
  7. Finally saw Kingdom of Heaven Director's Cut (go go Youtube), is much better than the theater release. Heh, did notice that the English sergeant's actor is the same one who voices Soap in COD.
  8. Getting back into EVE, planning to make a foray into null-sec and end up being ganked by some alliance. Suppose I can also hit up W-space and make money of Sleepers there. Need to find a new corp too, friends all quit the game.
  9. Well that was what I meant, was answering your question.
  10. They reach their goal ?
  11. Oh wow, good coincidence as I have been trying to remember what game I used to play by a family friend. All I remember of it was that the boss was some robot bug like thing and the ending screen was with a dude and a girl watching a sunset. Turns out it was Crime Wave. Thanks
  12. http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/news/12550/? ModKit released
  13. Just because that's the way I deal with approaching my mid-life crisis. Still, since I haven't actually posted in this thread in awhile, I suppose I should actually be somewhat serious. The cancer and continuing medical conditions finally hit their peak last week and my mother passed on in that grand journey. So it's been the running day by day juggling things with my father and sister to get everything sorted. Funeral plans and all the rest of that needed legal issues that result from bereavement. Now after having spent the last fifteen years as her carer, and having had that as a central piece of my life I have to re-figure who I am without that and where I'm going from here. Oh right, mid life crisis, I think I am due for that soon. Sorry to hear about your mother dying, can't be easy to go through but good luck in getting through it all.
  14. Nah, I am sure it'll get pirated before then.
  15. Was rampaging around in GTA V, shame the game doesn't have some SoF style wounding system - blow off limbs, people die from exsanguination (that is such a nice word). Probably would murder the engine I guess. It is funny to notice the shortcuts the engine takes for the open world, particularly when streets go empty on a high building or when pedestrians vanish when they rush out of sight.
  16. Good reason for that, though you'll never see it, heh.
  17. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/13/us/in-california-millions-of-shade-balls-combat-a-nagging-drought.html California finally gets some balls when it comes to fighting their drought.
  18. F**king Krasnodar came back and beat me 4-3, so looks like I am finishing behind Zenit with OP Hulk.
  19. Usual paranoia about wearing the new shoe. Felt ok in store but always something wrong that craps up after I can no longer return it
  20. Mooncrest KS is KIA, for now - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-08-12-mooncrest-developers-cancel-their-kickstarter
  21. He's very Rob Ford like, this Trump.
