So your definition of playing the race card is that? Always has been used as pejorative implying the claim of racism is fake or just a shield (see Senator Meredith here in Canada). Quite different than being angry with cops.

Thought that was SEXISM, Volo.

Really and how often and can you give an example of what the "race card" being played is to you ? MTV, Oscars, BLM do I need to go on? Well BLM is supposed to be about cops and minorities which isn't just playing a race card, heh. But yeah, you could go on as you've only mentioned three things but you were going on about it being quite often. Unless only one flippant claim of racism is enough to invalidate every one.

It is hard to be white, these days, indeed.

Typical leftist response.

Seems odd to tout Gorsuch, given the way Congress is set. I guess every review needs that fluff task

They said something along the line "we will hire refugees instead of veterans". Those a**holes.Believe which crap? That he resigned a month earlier? Or the veteran hiring through to 2018 being separate from hiring 10k refugees worldwide? Seems like nothing much to get outraged over. Believing that the the backing off CEO statement and firing said CEO is not related to the outrage the CEO statement caused. It's like saying that employee who badmouthed the company wasn't fired because of the badmouthing but for unrelated reason. It's a PR bullcrap and I thought any intelligent person can see that. Articles dated Dec 1 2016 have him resigning as of Apr 2 2017, so he wasn't fired due to this. Haven't found anything about them backing off though, they did pledge to up the number of veterans they'd hire in the respective project.Literally 5 seconds of search http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/03/23/starbucks-hiring-veterans-after-backlash-refugee-plan Yes, I mentioned that in my post. The refugee hiring project is still going, but will check on that later

That is a pretty neat solo at the end.

Seems he resigned before making that pledge, though, announcement was Dec 1 2016 that he would leave on Apr 2. His refugee hiring promise was in mid Jan. I do like this article, headline vs the correction http://conservativetribune.com/hire-10k-refugees-starbucks-ceo/ Not even sure how it was refugees over vets, seems like two concurrent initiatives also for all that is worth. Also that refugee hiring plan was worldwide.

Was funny coming out of my building to encounter some cop who felt his moment had come, yelling "GO! MOVE QUICKLY!" when we had only one way to go due to the police tape. Maybe he was worried the vault would detonate with the force of a 2000lb bomb

Civ 5 never held me like 4 or 2 did. Maybe the even ones are the good ones.

Transformer vault exploded near work so that was exciting. Hope no one was near the vent grilles when it happened, getting a whiff of that smoke would not be pleasant.

Shame DoW 3 seems to be kind of meh. Guess that's joining Civ 6 and DX:MD in games I will grab in 3 years at a huge discount. Probably should finish Cosmonautica's story at some point, mostly grinding away with cash. Need to find a place that makes medicine, that'll sell like hot cakes,

Did they? I thought Starbucks just shrugged at them, especially as it wasn't immigrants/refugees over veterans in the first place.

Yup. Also Spicer opens that bottle of JD again at his desk.

Finally saw Logan, it was ok. Certainly ran with the R rating.
