  1. Well saw it today, hmm, felt it was decent. Wasn't all that bored, still wish Finn wasn't in it though. The mini deus ex machinae were a bit annoying.
  2. How did you determine each group's size? Or is this some "everyone knows" tier ass pull?
  3. There's nothing "tough" or "advanced" about rank idiocy such as "women are destroying civilization". Yeah it is outrageous statement, almost like patriarchy is holding women back right? Seems a lot more bunk. Usually a claim that X is destroying civilization is some poorly masked axe grinding
  4. Interesting, can only have 2 Youtube videos embedded..
  5. Can't find anything on the bird watching trips. Shame as that sounds like a pretty fun activity
  6. Web 2.0 was such a bad idea.
  7. Good thing these people aren't subtle.
  8. So it's a CoD game ?
  9. If there's one thing in life that is overrated, it's booze.
  10. I always love statements like this, the grouping on one side is always so massive
  11. Thanks, will probably come to nothing though. Well or result in me getting fired
  12. Last day of work before my 'vacation' (a.k.a. using up holidays at work lest I lost them). Decided to say yes to try to apply to a developer role here that may be better for me personally long term but will introduce me to the disorganized slavery that is Agile at my company.
  13. I think everyone knew Hux sucked from his speech in TFA. Amazed some people think it was 'epic'
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUvNVR90bFM Rough interview.
  15. Think he's taking about unreasonable hurdles. Not quite sure it is common, but was some examples of people's birth county office having their papers needed to get their ID being far away and also having some slacker hours like 11 - 3 or something. No big deal for me, but some people lack that freedom. Just boils down to making sure everyone can easily meet a requirement when you make it so.
  16. I think that is the end point to the problem at hand. Good start would be pushing to make sure all those old documents and stuff like birth certificates that are paper only in some folder someplace are transferred to a digital format. But that'd cost money
  17. So was making my grocery list, though....
  18. Hm, or could draft them. If you serve in the military, you can get an ID that way.
  19. Well, that seems more expensive in the US - http://abcnews.go.com/Business/story?id=87996
  20. It's not really the direct cost of paying for the card though. At least from what I managed to find from googling, is all the things you need to do and pay for to get to the point that they'll take your $20.
  21. Voting is like buying milk or setting a chequing account or paying a cable bill, yup. Causing hurdles for people to go vote is a bit more dicey than the others, especially with your country's glorious history. Seems pretty obvious. Also I guess it does depend on what ID is acceptable, a bugbear for me here is the fact my provincial health card has a photo of me but is unacceptable for ID purposes. If you don't drive, which isn't too hard to imagine some poor don't, that leads to the secondary issues like I mentioned earlier. Seems like it is an issue for some, but I guess no one will really take an honest look at it. Then again, once people born in 50-70 are dead, very likely there'll be digital records so it should be nice and tidy. As usual death solves problems Psh, your grandma was just weak, she should have just sacked up.
  22. Well didn't see that coming, but how is that condescending ? It isn't thinking them helpless but just they have hurdles in the way. And not to mention there are people that rather like those hurdles being there. As I said, isn't really a case where you can shrug and tell them to deal with it so much as others, so have to implement the system accordingly.
  23. Well, if you mean to get then I don't think it is too much - seen things in the $20-$50 range. But the main issue for the poor is secondary costs and hassles, like having to go to some county office to get the paperwork needed that may be 100 miles away and may have hours that are impossible for working people to make, etc. Probably not the problem for everyone, but the thinking goes you shouldn't shrug and go 'TF' to people who can't vote now.
  24. Well, permastun means you can't do anything but get wailed on by a high DPS character. The bear, disc priest and holy paladin sacrifice damage for endurance and just wear you down. Seems reasonable, kind of unfair to have the latter group just be an easy kill.
  25. To make ? Maybe $0.20
