  1. Did the SWAT 4 mission with the child graveyard, have to redo it as apparently I blasted a lady in the legs with my MP5 that I shouldn't have. Not very good at judging when they are acting in a threatening manner. Sort of funny to deal with such a strict RoE when I'm in the ersatz NYPD, heh.
  2. Someone once stole my identity. They returned it eventually.
  3. Good to see BI still working, at least. Did enjoy DoK.
  4. I'm more surprised due to the fact of what happened to the AH-66 Bannerlord in glorified beta in March 2020 (haha, right)
  5. Hey, that'd be a unique path to victory. Seduce the villain!
  6. Might just be a case of him trying to leave in a courteous manner.
  7. Seems very bright.
  8. Ready Or Not, stupid name. Alpha build is being released tomorrow, I think, to supporters.
  9. SWAT 4 needs a "Plant evidence" option. Still, pretty fun game even when I play it rather simplistically. Will have to take flashbangs away from my AI teammates.
  10. You vastly overestimate Americans
  11. Finished JULIA, that reveal was so obvious for so long I'm not sure how the PC didn't notice it. Not a bad game overall, I guess I have low standards but found it serviceable, or maybe Moment of Silence lowered the bar too much in my mind recently, hah.
  12. https://www.dsogaming.com/news/volition-is-working-on-a-brand-new-saints-row-game-dambuster-studios-working-on-dead-island-2/ Shame Volition'll never get another chance to do Freespace
  13. Only Nazis would ban lootboxes from games
  14. Playing J.U.L.I.A. So far it's not too bad, only really enjoy unraveling what happened on the planets where people got killed. But does seem like it's a bit dragged out and the puzzles, at least on two planets so far, seem easy and repetitive. Alternating that with SWAT 4. Game needs a sequel with not many changes, sure is a blast to play and trying to plan things dynamically is pretty enjoyable - well, when it works. Oddity is the hostiles being deaf to automatic gunfire in a nearby room. Also have the same issues I had in R6 where the AI team members can't quite toss a grenade into the room and we end up flashbanging or gassing ourselves. Slowly learning to not just kill everyone as I move through the map, too.
  15. Seems like Epstein's death is more due to incompetence.
  16. Hordes of riot cops I guess ?

  18. Finished The Moment of Silence. It's not terrible, I liked the setting and story now that it is completed, even if it does sort of speed up at the end (seems common with adventure games) but niggling things like the camera system, long travel times, boring PC and poor hotspot higlighting draw back from it. Sort of funny to play a 2004 game talking about some AI that is monitoring all global communications with all the attendant conspiracy, concerns and paranois. The last puzzle is such a tedious exercise too, running around between three screens needlessly when they could have done the same without it all. Puzzles weren't too bad, except for the timed ones - one has you waiting for a microwave to finish heating food.
  19. Only Democrats ? Hm. Seems like this guy is like Gerald Bull in terms of who could have wanted him dead. Then again, may be as simple as incompetence from jailers letting this happen. Life is boring that way sometimes.
  20. Epstein's dead apparently - https://edition.cnn.com/2019/08/10/us/jeffrey-epstein-death/index.html
  21. You think they'd just make their own version of Twitter rather than cry about it. Related - https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/09/tech/white-house-social-media-executive-order-fcc-ftc/index.html
  22. Dura lex, sed lex, I guess.
