  1. Yeah I remember that, was a big to do just before Iraq. Will have to brush up on it, but recall some issues with that simulation althought not quite "cheating" like I know some have said the OPFOR was doing I guess if there was ill intent, that would count as murder. But why does his being aggressive towards Chauvin or the other officers matter at the point he's handcuffed, exactly ?
  2. And you're totally not, just in the other direction, right ?
  3. Cop in Brookyln Center's been charged with second degree manslaughter. Seems about right, although I'm sure that want her to be charged with murder and then will be shocked when that fails. https://kstp.com/news/former-brooklyn-center-police-officer-potter-to-be-charged-with-second-degree-manslaughter-in-daunte-wright-shooting-death/6074947/?cat=1
  4. Losing wargames is a good way to get an increase in your budget.
  5. Strange to dismiss recent examples (also forgot to mention Kashmir)
  6. It's an open relationship
  7. Sort of an odd peace when it's everyone keeping their gun handy.
  8. Well, the thread topic is pretty apt this time
  9. Peace path, I already did the War one back when I cleared the game. THAT run was fun, pissed Caesar off so he sent a legion which I crushed and when I won the game, the enemy was about to wipe me out Sort of annoyed I never found out how gatehouses worked and to use them for blocks. Food distribution is tricky (read: I suck at it) , I forgot they love wheat first then I think veggies, fruit and meat last. Problem is I am a fishing based city.
  10. Seems like too much of a macho, warrior culture (I always get a kick out of dead cops getting "TIl Valhalla" from this one cop forum I haunt) for them to ever see it as wrong or that citizens they interact with are actual human beings.
  11. No go, corporate policy to have it linked. I just kill the process now and then. Not sure what this application is doing that it needs 3-4 GB of memory, heh
  12. Heh, so the shooting in Brooklyn Center was down to the cop not knowing where her taser was. Must be some rigorous hiring standards
  13. Causes Explorer issues as it syncs folders I cannot set it to not sync.
  14. I'm surprised you're not moaning about Rhodesia.
  15. Watching OneDrive destroy my laptop, what a powerful piece of malware.
  16. From some of the "qq-ing" I've seen, seems some think they are closer. Well the Americans have tried to keep the grievances fresh, interference in Central and South America, for example!
  17. Well there you go, and all considered they got off pretty lightly.
  18. At least the treatment is much more simpler. Can't bomb a virus. Well I guess you could..
  19. Last mission of Caesar 3, markets bugging out again and not getting food so need to figure out what's up with that. Did learn the Gatehouse trick to keep wandering patrols in your blocks, good to learn that 22 years too late.
  20. Gaetz was pretty funny, ranting about the "deep state" on his case and how "they're not after me, they're after you! I'm just in the way" which I am still confused at the meaning of. He does look like That Guy that'd tell you about his porn at work, though.
  21. DMX - https://people.com/music/dmx-dead-age-50-after-suffering-heart-attack/
  22. Well, didn't care for either of them, so...quite easily! I guess Raithe is okay though, so maybe I'll check my spite for the UK just for him.
  23. English people suck that much. Not sure most Americans believe that - that England needs Scotiand or Wales more than the other way around (especially Wales, I don't think many people remember they exist..) - England has been synonymous for the UK for a reason. Seems more spite to want to see the UK explode even if it's mostly debris left.
