Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced
Actually, I am butthurt. Butthurt because I'm being fed same old crap and I'm expected to pour sprinkles on it and eat it up with my own golden spoon. Bethesda really pisses me off with their overhyped marketing.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
In my eyes their reputation never recovered after they acted like arrogant bastards right around the time of PS3's debut.

LA Noire
Personally, I think this game is worth experiencing on your own, if only for the sake of fantastic noire atmosphere(try it in b/w).

Oh god, what a bunch of ridiculously written, preposterous vomit. Oh, wait, it's kotaku... Nothing to see here, just another ridiculous kotaku article.

LA Noire
No QTE really. You do have to be careful when searching for clues, even the the vibration doesn't help that much... Action sequences are pretty standard GTA stuff(with slightly worse controls). but no QTE. It's not "dumbed down".

****, i'm soo overloaded with games. Got LA Noire, MK, Honest Hearts, Bad Company 2(for multiplayer) replaying ME1&2(never played any dlcs for the second one). And whenever my son wants me to play something I got lego star wars and toy story 3 to play...

I've thought about this game a bit more and realised that it's basically closest to adventure games in its DNA. You pixel hunt to find items, then figure out how to use the items and observe the effects to figure out what to say to people....sorta... then you get an action sequence. The atmosphere and delivery is just sooo spot on though...- FO: NV (DLC)
Seems like general public is not happy with it. This time, it's too story light for them.- LA Noire
PLayed this for few hours yesterday. Got through training and traffic division. Now i'm with homicide. I ended up leaving audio/visual clues on because otherwise it would be near impossible to find some evidence without them. Also, although the story progression is very linear, it seems like mission progression has some branching parts - get to the scene of domestic disturbance quick enough and you can catch the attackers. In the end you can still beat the cases, but branching does help with the narrative. V/A and animations are best i've ever seen. Writing is noire campy, but fantastically so. Most of the time it really feels like you're watching a movie. Basically it's another win for rockstar.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
Gawd, what's with all of the metallic sounds? The gameplay seemed to have been PC - when use icon appeared it showed "E" as the assigned key- Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced
To quote GladOS "Ha ha, fat chance"- FO: NV (DLC)
